The 5 W s Business Perspective Why are we doing this LIMS is nearing 15 year life cycle Old technology is not flexible enough to meet the needs of new business requirements LIMS will no longer be supported by consultant who developed it MAC will be an FDOT Enterprise Application Full Support of FDOT BSSO More flexible, easier to change than LIMS 4
When The 5 W s Business Perspective LIMS support stops June 30, 2015 MAC is scheduled to be implemented in conjunction with the Department losing support for LIMS Where will MAC be used We re using MAC to address where - connectivity concerns 5
