These pumps are the clear choice for dewatering and drainage applications whether underground or in open-pit mines. Construction / Tunneling The Flygt 26 series is the ideal choice for all construction site dewatering tasks, whether active or passive dewatering of groundwater or storm water. Sixty years later what sets the Flygt 26 series apart from other dewatering pumps is the attention to innovation. Spin-Out 8 Unique to Flygt products, this patented design protects the outer seal and extends service life by expelling abrasive particles from the seal. Dura-Spin hydraulic system Spiral grooves on the suction cover in combination with back vanes on the impeller prevent abrasive particles from reaching the impeller neck, considerably increasing durability. Plug-In seal 7 The unique one-piece Plug-In seal incorporates two mechanical seals for double protection against liquid penetration. The unit enables faster and simpler replacement, and protects seal surfaces during disassembly and mounting. Clog-resistant impeller Available as an option, the specially designed open high-chrome impeller minimizes clogging when pumping abrasive water containing large soft particles. 4 Inspection chamber The inspection chamber provides early notifi cation of any fluid buildup in case of seal leakage, minimizing the risk of expensive repair work.
