Company Overview Fast Form Systems Ltd are a UK based designer / manufacturer of formwork & access systems, UK designed, backed by a granted UK patent and Worldwide PCT we use only UK suppliers to proudly stand by our Made In Britain logo. Fast Form specialise in Hire & Sales of Formwork systems, including all formwork & access ancillaries such as tools /ply / chemicals / tie bars / scaffold / fixings and much more. Fast Form brackets were first developed in 1994/5 and one of the first major projects was at a McArthur Glenn outlet near Mansfield Notts. They were designed to provide a formwork / shutter, falsework and access platform on a rising and radius sheet pile capping beam. Our managing director when faced with this complex capping beam could find no off the shelf solution to meet the needs of the project and so set about designing a system that could be fixed to the web of the piles and provide a falsework and working platform as well as a double sided shutter, the system was so flexible it was used for other bases, plinths and walls. We now operate out of depots throughout the UK with several partner companies and are always looking to develop new relationships with distributors and resellers Worldwide. Over the years the brackets have been enhanced and made more flexible and after exhaustive prototyping and testing the Fast Form brackets were brought to the general market in late 2013 after a Patent was granted, the product range was further enhanced with wall and climbing systems. A simple but unique system that is incredibly flexible, safe, saves time and money and is environmentally friendly, designed by our own managing director with 30 years experience in reinforced concrete construction. Fast Form is a system, or range of products, which can be applied to all Formwork for concrete structures as well as an Access and Safety system. Fast Form is designed for several areas of concrete construction, access and safety where no other system has a good one size fits all solution. Fast Form has 3 main product lines: Bracket System: for pours from 100mm to 1800mm high, flexible enough for slabs, bases, walls, beams and sheet pile capping beams and its ability to bolt together allows all manner of complex shapes to be formed. Wall System: available as a Steel system that can be built in-situ or an Aluminium panel system with pour heights from 1.2m to 6.4 m high double or single sided, straight or radius walls. Jump / Climbing System: Designed for use with our Aluminium wall system or as a standalone access platform, this is the lightest system on the market and offers a quality platform with a loading available of 500kg per M2 and a working area of almost 2m and the ability to flat pack for transportation. The system is capable of being used for almost any application and we also offer a bespoke design and manufacturing service with recent projects for Balfour Beatty Rail on the London Underground and in the Falklands for the British Army, we have just appointed a New Zealand Distributor and are in talks with companies in Saudi Arabia / Australia & the USA. The system comes with full drawings and fitting instructions and structural calculations and we can supply a full temporary works package with in-house CAD / 3D Design & structural calculations. Fast Form offers a Greener, Sustainable, Safer & Faster alternative, saving Time and Money with the added benefit of also being used as a standard access and safety platform as well as for all Formwork. - Greener, Sustainable: There is a growing trend towards reducing carbon footprints and to reduce waste within the construction industry. Timber waste is a big issue, as it is not as recyclable as other materials. Fast-Form dramatically cuts down timber waste and can eliminate timber materials completely with the use of plastic ply such as Alkus, savings are as high as 90% in Carbon Emissions a mid-sized contractor could reduce his Carbon Footprint by 20,000 kg per year! With a Carbon footprint of.22kg per m2 Vs Timber at 2.49kg per m2. - Safer: Fast-Form enables a safer method of working than many of the systems currently available. It has the ability to attach a handrail system quickly and easily which allows a full access system to be attached that creates a safe working platform off the ground no single part weighs more than 25KG and so it complies with manual handling regulations. - Faster: Lightweight and easy to fit the system saves time on installation costs, reduces labour fatigue and also saves a time in making shutters when compared against timber formwork methods. - Cost Savings: The overall cost and time savings against timber can be 50-60%! 4

The Old fashioned way draw backs: The Fast Form Way Benefits: No structural calculations No handrail and no edge / fall protection Time and cost to make shutters is extremely high High timber use for shuttering, bad re-use and high Carbon Foot print Timber wastage on props No calculations for props they are set ad hoc with no drawing to follow Concrete blinding needs drilling and pinning behind shutter and also for props / ties Props dangerous, pins and wire a trip hazard and fall hazard Props held by 4 nails, if one prop fails other would follow This slab was a power float finish with a ride on power float, the danger of falling over the edge was very high but not as high as the trip hazards to the side of the slab No method or risk assessment could ever justify the use of this system, this was a major contractor on a Nuclear Power Station in 2013 who let the subcontractor work using this method Comes with structural calculations Optional handrail and edge / fall protection No shutters to make, fast to install and low cost No timber use at all, ply can be standard or plastic and so system has a very Low Carbon Foot print Timber wastage on props eliminated In built propping system is adjustable for all ground conditions Concrete blinding needs less drilling and no pinning and can be fixed with a 30KN concrete bolt / screws or road pins No pins or wire, trip hazard and fall hazard greatly reduced Props not held by 4 nails, but by High Tensile M16 bolts torque tightened In the time it took to make the timber shutters, the Fast Form system would have been fixed, poured and stripped. High re-use, brackets have an expected lifespan of 20 years plus Galvanized or stainless steel they need no painting and are low maintenance Bracket range in weight from 2kg (150mm high) to 20kg ( 1.8m high) and sizes available are 150 / 200 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1200 / 1800mm so fit all types and sizes of Slab / base / walls / sheet pile capping beams and much more Straight or radius pours from the same bracket!
