Raw material Since the service life of any civil engineering project always lies in supreme design and seamless execution, the importance of raw materials applied cannot be emphasized too heavily. The TRENCHCOAT Protective Film is a highly damage-resistant polymeric coating that can resist the adverse impact of all corrosive materials, such as acids, salts and alkalines. Designed to combine the strength of a galvanized sheet with the supreme ductile properties and chemical resistance of the polymer, the TRENCHCOAT film adds another dimension of insulation to the corrugated pipe, irrespective of exposure to the elements. Steel laminated with the TRENCHCOAT Film can be most easily roll-formed and lock-seamed without coating damage and pipe ends are protected with a corrosion-resistant coating. The TRENCHCOAT film is applied once the steel sheet has been galvanized. Pressure and temperature combine to merge the superior chemical properties of the polymer with the mechanical properties of a galvanized sheet.
