Deepening of PAT (existing sectors) Energy consumption thresholds have been revised downwards, such that even industries, have lower energy consumption than large industries, now fall in PAT Cycle 2. Which means inclusion of more unit from existing sectors. A total of 89 DCs from various existing sectors like Iron & Steel, Pulp & Paper, Thermal Power Plant, Chlor-Alkali, Fertilizer, Aluminium and Textiles, are now in PAT Cycle 2. Widening of PAT (new sectors) New industry sectors have been brought under the ambit of PAT. The new sectors under the PAT Cycle 2 now include the following sectors and 84 DCs under them.
