Our diverse range of metal hoses, expansion joints and piping products has many uses. Our products can withstand both chemical and mechanical wear and tear, as well as extreme temperature differences, and they are used in numerous industrial sites, also in demanding conditions. We focus on close co-operation with our customers and strive to find the best solutions for their individual needs. Our production plant in Ylöjärvi is responsible for the manufacturing of expansion joints, hose assemblies and flexible joints for demanding industrial use. Masino Oy s products are known for their quality, and a large portion of the production is targeted at the export market. Operations included in the certification are related to the marketing of piping components and product installation, maintenance and logistics. Masino Industry Oy has operated following a quality system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard since 1994. Our ISO 9001:2015- and ISO 3834-2:2005-certified quality system covers the design and manufacture of products in compliance with module H of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. Metal expansion joints Metal expansion joints are tailor-made according to the customer s needs. Expansion joints undergo extensive testing and are used to compensate for thermal expansion and mechanical vibration as well as to reduce noise. Their applications include processing industries, district heating pipelines, shipbuilding and power stations. Multi-ply bellows structure PRRA Expansion joint with welding ends Usually for axial movement, can also be used for angular or lateral movement. PRFI (PRFU) Expansion joint with loose flanges Usually for axial movement, can also be used for angular or lateral movement. PRFA Expansion joint with fixed flanges Usually for axial movement, can also be used for angular or lateral movement. PRRO Expansion joint with external guide sleeve For axial movement only. Can also be equipped with length limiters. PRRC (PRFC) Gimbal expansion joint with welding ends For angular movement only, in any plane. (PRFC like PRRC but with flanges.) PRRV Expansion joint with tie rods and welding ends Usually for lateral movement in any plane, but axial pressure is also possible when necessary.

This structure is used for example in LNG pipelines.
Metal hoses Metal hose assemblies are manufactured in our production plant in Ylöjärvi. The products can be used in pipes carrying steam, condensation, gas, oil and chemicals. They are designed to withstand chemical and mechanical wear and tear, as well as extreme temperature differences. Other piping products Masino metal expansion joints The joints are used to compensate for thermal expansion and mechanical vibration, as well as to reduce noise in steam, condensation, gas, oil and chemical pipes. Masino flexible joints The products are designed to withstand chemical and mechanical wear and tear, as well as extreme temperature and pressure variations. The materials used in the joints include various compounds of non-woven fabric, Hypalon, Viton, EPDM and PTFE. These products can be used in pipes carrying gas, air, chemical, acid, oil and ozone. Masino rubber expansion joints The Masino rubber expansion joints are used to compensate for thermal expansion and mechanical vibration, to reduce noise and to neutralise any deviations in the installation caused by the axial and lateral movement of the structure. Applications include the cooling water pipes of power stations and large plants, desalination plants, pipes for drinking water, shipbuilding, pumps, turbines and containers. Pipe support system The pipe support system is designed to hang and support pipes and boilers in diverse industrial applications. We use a special algorithm in the delivery of these constant hangers. Air, lens and smoke duct bellows Used in power plant air and smoke ducts to compensate thermal movement. Custom made for duct size. Several material alternatives are available.
