Modifications In the interest of technical progress we reserve the right to make any modifications. Any modifications or revisions of this specification must be jointly discussed and agreed between the customer and the supplier. We are not responsible for incorrect technical applications of our products. 10. Processing Advices The sheets can be processed by cutting, blanking, punching and milling and be formed by bending. To protect the material against damages during processing and mounting the sheets are covered by a white, UV-resistant film, which is printed with Alcan symbols and can easily been stripped off. To avoid cracking during forming one has to adhere to a minimum inner bending radius and a minimum temperature. - minimum bending radius: 3.0 mm (according to 2.5T acc. to ECCA T7), sheet gauge: 1.5 mm, min. bending radius R i = 2.5 x 1.5 mm = 3.75 mm) - minimum metal temperature during forming: 20 C
Product : SIGNICOLOR Page: 7/7 11. Installation In order to achieve absolute uniformity of colour and gloss of the surfaces, only material from one single production lot should be used. This is imperative, particularly in the case of metallics. The production-identification number (coil no.) and the Novelis symbol is printed on the reverse face. The top of the Novelis symbol indicates the painting direction. 12. Cleaning Only water based mild cleaning agents should be used for cleaning organic coated products. Regular cleaning of organic coatings will maintain the satisfactory state of the surface. Cleaning should be carried out when the appearance is dissatisfactory due to deposits of atmospheric pollution or other substances washed down from the surfaces. The finishes should be washed with water containing a mild detergent, as recommended by the supplier.
