This specifications document describes key features and functionalities of SAP SuccessFactors People Central Hub, as of the Q4 2017 Release. KEY FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITIES People Data Overview Search Mobile Integration Consolidated global reporting Administration Permissions Foundation Objects and Generic Objects PEOPLE DATA OVERVIEW Organizational Charts Overview of People Data Country-specific Information Data Retention Management Users can display the basic organizational chart, the position org chart as well as the company structure overview to browse the organization and understand department structure and reporting relationships. The basic organizational chart offers also the option to display information about a person s alternate managers, either direct or matrix. Customer can import and display people data information such as personal information, address information, bank information, compensation data, and payment information. The hub also supports global expatriate assignments and multiple employment. Permissions control the people data information to be displayed per role. For those countries supported by People Central Hub, countryspecific information is included for all Users. Data Retention Management tools enable the Customer to purge inactive Users from the system. 3

SEARCH People Search Employee Quickcard Employee Directory Ability to find people in the organization using the people search. Search by first, middle, or last name, or by username, or by localized alternate names. From search results, open anyone's employee quickcard or link to the employee directory for more advanced search options. Allows to view basic User information on the employee quickcard, such as name, title, contact information, and photo. Link from the quickcard to the employee profile. Enables search for and discover others with the employee directory, which provides advanced search tools to filter the results. MOBILE View employee and organizational information on mobile devices View basic organizational chart on mobile devices Allows each User to display personal information and public profile as well as certain organizational information after accepting and subject to applicable mobile terms and conditions. INTEGRATION Prepackaged Integrations to SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA Prepackaged Templates SAP develops, supports, and maintains prebuilt, configurable end-to-end integration processes for SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA. These generally available integrations comprise addons for SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA and middleware content for SAP Cloud Platform Integration. Some effort may be required to tailor the processes of a specific customer. See implementation handbooks for detailed scope description: http://help.sap.com/hr_ecintegration. Provides integration content templates for 3rd party benefits, time, payroll, finance, and travel applications. Encapsulates HR- XML standards and best practice knowledge of integration patterns in each of these categories. Helps expedite implementation. Prepackaged template integrations have to be maintained by the Customer. 4

APIs Ability to use APIs to build custom integrations on SAP Cloud Platform Integration technology and custom extensions on SAP Cloud Platform, subject to the applicable Supplemental Terms and Conditions available at https://www.sap.com/about/agreements/cloudservices.html?tag=language:english&search=supplement&sort=la test_asc. Custom integrations and extensions have to be maintained by the Customer. CONSOLIDATED GLOBAL REPORTING Standard Reports Online Report Designer Date Range Reporting Report Center Allows to generate any number of standard reports. The Customer may run them on the fly or on a predefined schedule, and generate them in local languages, if generally available. All fields imported from the core HR systems to SAP SuccessFactors People Central Hub can be reported on. Customer may use the online report designer to build customized reports. Allows Customers to run reports based on data within a specified date range. The Report Center helps to simplify the creation, management, and execution of reports within the SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite. ADMINISTRATION Administration Release Center Upgrade Center Provides features and tools that enables the Customer to manage its instance. Release Center is a feature that enables the Customer to view and manage quarterly release information that is tailored to the Customer s instance, directly within the SAP SuccessFactors application. Customer can use the Upgrade Center to learn about and apply important optional upgrades and legal changes. 5

Execution Manager Integration Center The Execution Manager dashboard shows the status of scheduled jobs and integrations and helps to quickly identify and troubleshoot errors. The Integration Center enables HR business analysts to build, run, schedule and monitor simple file-based outbound integrations. Enables the Customer to build integrations through a guided workflow. Predefined templates, that are subject to change, are available and the Customer can also create its own templates. The Integration Center is an optional feature that must be enabled and configured separately. PERMISSIONS Role Based Permissions Permission Groups Role-Based Permissions (RBP) manage the permissions in the SAP SuccessFactors suite. RBP controls access to the applications and what Users can see. Permission groups are used to define groups of employees who share specific attributes. Various attributes can be used to select the group members, for example a User's department, country, or Job Code. FOUNDATION OBJECTS AND GENERIC OBJECTS (MDF) Foundation Objects Generic Objects Foundation objects are used to set up data that can be shared across the entire company, such as job codes, departments, or business units. Foundation objects are sometimes referred to as foundation tables. Generic objects are used for information and settings relating to the people working in the company, such as their compensation, vacation, and address information.
