Rate Supplements 1.Quality of the preadvice To allow you, and your addressee customers to benefit from high-quality home delivery, requires you to make available to all useful and reliable information for a successful delivery. For this purpose, the information transmitted in the EDI preadvice and printed on the shipping labels is essential data for the delivery of your parcels. Indeed, erroneous or missing information has direct impacts on our delivery service and affects the information communicated to the addressee. Therefore as of 1 st January 2016, the preadvice quality supplement may be applied to you in the event of the non-compliance of the transmitted information: 2.Standard supplements Non-machinable parcel Any parcel not meeting any one of the characteristics of standard parcels set out in our General Terms & Conditions of sale requires specific processing. As a principle a non-admitted parcel must not deposited at La Poste. For all the distribution methods, parcels not meeting the conditions of machinable or non-machinable parcels set out in the General Terms & Conditions are not permitted to enter the postal network. Depending on the mode of transport used to route the parcel, the fuel adjustment will be applied which corresponds to carriage by road or by air. This coefficient is applied to the invoice total ex-vat, after any discount (optional services, rate supplements, various charges, duties and taxes excluded) as a percentage and variable each month. In addition, the correct use of the online postal charges payment solutions provided by optimises the quality of your addresses. Volumetric weight The Volumetric Weight is applied to parcels bound for international destinations (list of countries concerned on colissimo.fr/entreprises*) and to French Overseas territories carried by air. La Poste will apply the rate corresponding to the dimensional weight, if this is greater than the actual weight of the parcel.
