I. Project Location and Description II. The project is located in Perris, CA within the boundaries in the southeast corner of the Val Verde Unified School District. The construction is currently underway on the 61.6 acre site located at the intersection of Orange Ave. and Evans Road. Phase 1 of the high school construction consists of the following: Building 100: 27,789 sf New 2-story Administration building Building 200: 12,422 sf New Kitchen/Cafeteria building Building 300: 6,000 sf New Health/Science building Building 400: 6,650 sf New Multi-Use building Building 500: 43,292 sf New 2-story Classroom building Building 800: 800 sf New Utility building The onsite work consists of installation of a 2,200 L.F. Double Box Culvert and Onsite Piping System for storm water control, the removal and relocation of a 36 domestic waterline, installation of Shade Structures, Parking Lots, Bio Retention Basins, Irrigation and Landscape Systems, Football Field & Track venues including an accessible shot put and discus area, pole vault, triple jump/long jump, 2 Baseball Fields, 2 Softball Fields, a Soccer Field and several hard court play areas for Tennis, Basketball and Volleyball. The offsite work consists of constructing the 36 domestic water line from points of connection on Dunlap Dr. and Orange Ave., street improvements along Orange Ave., Evans Rd. and a driveway on Lemon Ave. to serve the student and faculty parking lots. Project Progress During the month of February, the construction progressed as follows: Administration Building: Framing pick-up work is in progress; Roof and floor sheeting completed. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Fire Suppression Piping rough-in in progress at 2 nd floor and roof area. Started paper backing and lathing. Started setting hollow metal door and window frames. Kitchen/Cafeteria Building: Continued wood framing, plumbing top out, HVAC and electrical rough-in is in progress. Health-Science Building: Work at this location is still on hold pending changes made by the District that require DSA review. Multi-Use Building: Placed all slab on grade except at stage area. Two-Story Classroom Building: Installed modular elevator. Setting bottom wood plates for wall framing. Utility Building: Wood Framing and Electrical Rough-in is complete. Started paper backing and lathing. Site Work: Underground electrical work continues. Curb & Gutter placement at North and South parking lots in progress. Set light poles in North and South Parking lots. Wrought Iron Fencing installation in progress at North Parking Lot. Completed chain link fencing installation at Tennis Courts. 2

II. Project Progress Continued from page 2 Offsite work: Delivered pipe, valves, and appurtenances for installation of 36 water line. Installed Blow-Off Valves. III. IV. Project Budget The Post-Bid Construction Budget was set at $39,144,825.30 with a Change Order Contingency set at 10% or $3,914,482 for a total of $43,059,307.30. Project Schedule The project schedule indicated a starting date of March 20, 2014 and a substantial completion date of March 8, 2016. The High School is scheduled to open for its first session in August 2016. Governmental delays continue for the Offsite Connections and Improvements, however, the overall project completion date remains on schedule. Through the month of February the project is 30.4% complete. V. 30-Day Forecast During the month of March the construction is anticipated as follows: Administration Building: Finish setting doors and window frames, begin roofing, continue paper backing and lathing exterior, plastering, and finish rough Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical work. Kitchen/Cafeteria Building: Continue and finish framing. Continue Electrical and Plumbing rough in. Start Fire Suppression and Mechanical rough in. Health-Science Building: Due to District implemented changes, work is still on hold pending review by DSA. Multi-Use Building: Steel fabrication in production. Two-Story Classroom Building: Start framing walls and roughing in electrical. Utility Building: Finish concrete slab for switchgear. Start roofing and plastering building. Site Work: Start installing Baseball and Football Field curb, drains, and fencing. Offsite work: Start excavation and installation of the 36 Waterline. VI. Construction Summary 1. Start Date: March 20, 2014 2. Substantial Completion Date: March 08, 2016 3. Time Elapsed (from the start date): 345 Calendar Days 4. Time Remaining: 379 Calendar Days 5. School Opens: August 2016 3
