SGG MIRALITE A pure reflection of nature The future of habitat. Since 1665 SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS DESIGN

SGG MIRALITE Light, space and design A mirror with real conference for health and the environment. remains true to the core values of Saint- Gobain Glass and conveys a dual message of real awareness of health and the environment. Application The properties of enhance internal spaces (increased light levels, conviviality, ambience complemented by original designs). It is ideal for use in the home (bathrooms, hallways, etc.) and in professional settings such as offices, businesses, hotels, restaurants, sports halls. Available in different shapes to create new dimensions: framed or unframed mirror, wall cladding, item of furniture (table, cupboard door, shelf), signage. Evidence of ongoing innovation at Saint-Gobain Glass, this new mirror combines superior quality with unique environmental performance (no lead is added to the protective paint and the use of solvents is kept to a minimum). Range Thickness (mm) 2 3 4 5 6 Its high level of performance offering ease of edgeworking as well as exceptional quality and durability facilitates processing and helps ensure user comfort. 3 210 x 2 000 3 210 x 2 000 3 210 x 2 750 Manufacturing sizes: DLF: 3210x2000 mm, 3210x2250 mm, 3210x2550 mm, 3210x2750 mm HDLF: 1605x2000 mm, 1605x2250 mm, 1605x2550 mm, 1605x2750 mm Using only new glass for production, i.e. SGG PLANICLEAR with increased transparency and a clear, bright shade guarantees pure and vivid colours regardless of the lighting conditions. Additionally, the application of opaque glass expands the possibilities of interior design. Through its ultra-simple design and its composition free of lead and solvents, reflects a heightened awareness of health and the environment. Now more than ever, innovation is projecting the values of Saint-Gobain. 1 ton of recycled glass 20% less protective paint is required (only one coat). 30% of the glass used is recycled. 30% of water used in the manufacturing process is treated and reused. An optimized, resource-saving process Improved working conditions The paint contains 70% less solvent and complies with the Decopaint Directive1 (maximum content limit value: 130g/l). Zero aromatic solvents (xylene). A water-based paint is used, which limits odors and exposure to harmful substances. This way, safety of work at production lines is increased. Reduction of solvent concentration 460 g/l 130 g/l Complies with Decopaint Standard mirror SGG MIRALITE Proven top performances Almost no VOC content detected in a single test. US Federal <90 ppm It does not flake or chip, nor does it contain volatile organic compounds (VOC) 2 SSG MIRALITE <40 ppm Dry paint test following ISO 11885, take by TüV 9 Reduction of energy consumption by 15% in 5 years for glass production. Double digit energy savings Guaranteed longevity EN 1036 SGG MIRALITE standard Neutral salt spray, ISO 9227 after 480H 10% less energy is required to produce the mirror, which avoids 270 tons of CO 2 emissions a year for each production unit. 270 tons of CO 2 = equivalent to emissions of a 40 ton truck driving 200 000 km Reducing emissions for cleaner air Our glass and mirror production units are: Equipped with ESPs to reduce and treat dust emissions as well as CO 2 and SO x Close to each other (no transportation) Located near customers to optimize logistics. Advanced technology offers superior quality and durability. At the same time, the levels of VOCs emitted to the interior air remain undetectable. Being no-lead-added, it is easier to recycle in a glass furnace for instance. Manufactured using clearer glass, SGG MIRALITE is ideal for creating light-filled interior spaces. Provided with an opaque, blue-coated backing, it is also perfect for creating backlighting effects (e.g. LED 3 ). Cupro-Acetic Salt Spray (CASS), ISO 9227 after 120H Water condensation (EN 1036 Appendix A) after 480H < 1000 50 < 1500 < 200 250 carries the CE mark and its 0 performance is constantly monitored Our mirror production units are certified ISO 14000 (environment), ISO 9001 (quality) and OHSAS 18001 (safety) 1 The so-called «Decopaint Directive» (Directive 2004/42/EC, based on the Gothenburg Protocol) aims to limit VOC emissions due to the use of organic solvents in certain varnishes and paints, among other products, in order to prevent or reduce air pollution resulting from the contribution of VOCs to the formation of ground-level ozone. 2 Volatile organic compounds (VOC) and formaldehyde are organic chemical substances that can be easily spread at room temperature. If their concentration indoors is too high, they can cause health problems (eye irritation, breathing problems, etc.). 3 LED: Light-Emitting Diode 4 AFSSET: Agency for Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (France). 5 AgBB: Committee for health-related evaluation of building products (Germany). 6 Lead is a powerful anti-corrosive agent traditionally used in paint applied to the back of mirrors. It is potentially dangerous to health and the environment. 7 ppm (parts per million): unit used to measure low concentrations of various materials. One ppm corresponds to a ratio of 10-6, i.e. one gram per ton. 8 RoHS: European Directive 2002/95/EC on Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment. 9 TüV (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein): German inspection and standardisation agency certifying the safety and quality of products. 10 EN 1036: European standard concerning the quality of interior mirrors (glass in the construction industry). 4 5 SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS DESIGN

Processing Mirror structure Numerous edgeworking options is suitable for cutting into all types geometric or non-geometric shapes. It can be drilled and edgeworked (bevel, chamfer, etc.). can be customised with a logo, a sandblasted design, or engraved on the face opposite the coating. Optical performance Installation and maintenance practical guidelines Thickness % Rl minimum 3 mm 93 4 mm 92 5 mm 91 6 mm 89 Measurement of reflectance shall be undertaken in accordance with the principle of EN 410, but with the angle of incidence of the light within 8 of normal. Fixing Channel glazing in a frame Ensure that the frame is clean and dry. Position the mirror on a counter on blocks at least 3 mm thick, to raise the mirror and avoid any contact with condensation water that might collect in the frame. Fixing pads Provide suitable fixings. Avoid contact between the glass and metal by using plastic spacers and washers. Attach the mirror without applying excessive pressure. Adhesive fixing Secure using a mirror adhesive (N.B.: ONLY USE an alcohol- or oxime-based neutral silicone*) or double-sided adhesive pads. Acidic adhesive are not recommended. Follow the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer. * If there is any doubt whether the products used are neutral, it is essential to carry out a test on the paint. no residue from cleaning products is left around the edges. Safety must be installed in accordance with the current regulations. In all cases: Irrespective of how the mirror is attached, ensure the following: Install the mirror on a supporting wall that is stable, clean and dry, free from harsh substances and absolutely flat. Provide sufficient space between the supporting wall and the mirror to ensure good ventilation (5 mm for mirrors less than 1 m tall; 10 mm for a larger mirror). Leave space of 1 to 2 mm between mirrors when they are installed side by side. Avoid placing the mirror near a source of heat (light, heating etc.). Exterior installation Please contact with Saint Gobain for details. Maintenance Do not use harsh products (acid solutions, highly alkaline or very abrasive materials). Ensure that 6 7 SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS DESIGN
