Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, UAE Product Overview Kwik Column is the new robust, column formwork system from RMD Kwikform, able to accommodate column sizes from 200mm up to 1.0m in 500mm increments. The simple design ensures the system is safe and fast to erect, supporting tight construction deadlines. Faster Limited components ensure fast erection of the columns. Once assembled, columns remain erected for the duration of the project. Easier Columns erected in two parts, easily secured together with the tie holder. Majority of components are quick and easy pinned connections. Column quickly craned into next pour position. Safer Access Brackets ensure safe working at height for site operatives. Kwik Column - Lightweight system Rapid Bar Tie on Kwik Column Features & Benefits Engineered to accommodate high concrete pressures, Kwik Column is bespoke designed to suit customers on-site requirements, ensuring the most cost effective and efficient solution. Strength to weight ratio The lightweight system provides a robust support to the form easy handling improves on-site productivity. Galvanized Components Improved corrosive resistance giving longevity and improving the general appearance of the formwork system. Adaptable The flexible nature of the system allows for most column sizes to be accommodated using the basic system components. GTX or Aluminium Beams Kwik Column can be assembled using GTX timber or any Aluminium Beams, allowing customers to use their own stocks. Accessories The system has a full range of accessories, including Access Platforms, to allow for the safe erection and handling of the forms and safe concrete pouring on-site. Kwik Column - Connections of columns Saadiyat Island Resort, UAE In Detail Simple Shutter Connection Safe Access Access Brackets provide a safe working platform, not only for pouring and vibrating concrete, but can also be positioned to provide access during erection and dismantling on higher column forms. Column corners are easily connected with Rapid Bar Tie secured through the Tie Holder set at 45. Easy Lifting Flexible Column Plan Sizes Shutters can be easily repositioned on-site using the integral lifting loop on the Prop Connection Bracket. Columns can also be lifted using either the GTX or Alform Beam Lifting Unit. As an enhancement to the integral 50mm incremental adjustment, the End Splice Unit allows Column Arms to be joined together to accommodate column dimensions of any sizes. 3
