SR 85 @ Gila Bend Ph I Contractor- Haydon Building Corp. Contract Amount- $13,473,722 Project Status- 48% Complete Project consists the realignment of Pima St. and Maricopa Rd, demolition of SR 85/B8 interchange and the construction of Pima/B8 intersection. Work consists of removal of 2 bridges, AC pavement, and existing box culvert; constructing new AC pavement, curb & gutter, drainage improvements, construction of new bridges, lighting, landscape and other related items.
Oxbow Bridge Contractor- Lawrence Construction Company Contract Amount- $979,712 Project Status- 70% Complete Project consists of removing bridge deck and replacing with new wooden bridge deck.
SR 95, Colorado River Bridge Replacement Prime Contractor- MCM Construction, Inc. Project Cost- $23,465,000.00 Project Start Date- 4/15/11 Project Description- Project consists of removing existing bridge and constructing a new bridge.
Ave 3E, Gila Ridge Road- 24 th Street Existing Bridge Project Estimate- $8.2 Million Joint project between ADOT & City of Yuma Project consists of widening the bridge over the railroad to accommodate 3 lanes in each direction with concrete median. Project received $7 Million of Coordinated Border Infrastructure Funding
I-8, Fortuna Road & South Frontage Road Improvements o Project is scheduled for construction in FY 12 o Project consists of widening the existing south frontage road, placing new chain link fence along the r/w line, and widening the return radius from Fortuna Road to the south frontage road o Joint project with Yuma County & ADOT
US 95, MP 82 & 89 Intersection Improvements Project cost estimated at $1.6 Million Construction scheduled for FY 12 Work consists of adding a right and left turn lane at each intersection. At MP 89.2 the turnout will be realigned to remove the existing skew. MP 89.2
US 95, International Border-Juan Sanchez Blvd. Construction Estimate- $5 Million Design FY 12 thru 13 Construction FY 13 Project improvements will include: improvement traffic circulation to and from the port of entry. One-way streets at Archibald & 1 st Ave. New pavement, new curb & gutter, pedestrian lights, luminares, signage, & storm drain system

Install raised curb median between B St & Juan Sanchez Blvd. and curb bump outs for on street parking between A St. and D St. 2. New sidewalk, street furniture, bike racks 3. New signage & pedestrian lighting Installing storm drain system for Yuma County Flood Control District Enhancement Project Storm Drain System
I-10, Ehrenberg Roundabout & Pavement Preservation Project construction scheduled for FY 12 Estimated Construction Cost- $4.67 Million Project consists of constructing a roundabout at The crossroad and south frontage road, milling and replacing pavement, and reconstructing portion of the roadway near the roundabout
US 95, Ave 9E to Aberdeen Corridor Gila River Bridge The Project consists of widening the existing roadway from a two-lane roadway to a five-lane section with 10 shoulders from Ave 9E to the Gila River Bridge and from the Gila River Bridge to Aberdeen Road the roadway will be widened to a four-lane divided highway section. 30% General Plan Complete Corridor will be split into 4 to 5 separate smaller projects. US 95, Ave 9E to Aberdeen Ph I Phase I- Ave 9E to Fortuna Wash Bridge (MP 31.87-34.66) Project consists of widening the roadway to a five lane section with 10 shoulders, constructing a new bridge over the Fortuna Wash, constructing a roundabout at the intersection of US 95 & Fortuna Road, widening an existing canal bridge. I-10, West Quartzsite TI Improvements Construct roundabouts at ramp intersections to alleviate traffic congestion without widening the crossroad The construction of roundabouts at the ramp intersections could handle increasing traffic volumes for a number of years before any other improvements will need to be made.
