THE HISTORY OF NISHIJIMAX AND PAT MOONEY SAWS Nishijimax NHC Carbide Cutoff Systems are engineered and built in Toyohashi City, Japan. Nishijimax is a third generation family company that has specialized in high production machining lines for the automotive industry. The NHC machines were developed in the early 1990 s in response to the demand for high production saw machines that could operate in auto cycle without the presence of a saw operator by each machine. The NHC machines deliver more parts per hour with a high degree of accuracy for a variety of customers in automotive manufacturing (forgers) as well as steel service centers and high production machine shops. Nishijimax Machine Building philosophy is to provide a heavy duty machine and structure to absorb vibrations in the cutting cycle. This translates into higher productivity and longer blade life. In addition, since all engineering and manufacturing is controlled in their factory, the reliability of each machine is renowned. Several companies have placed machines in line manufacturing process. The machines have an up time percentage that is world class. Pat Mooney Saws, a third generation family owned metal sawing supplier, introduced NHC machines to the USA in 1996. At the time, this sawing technology was unknown in the USA. The NHC business in North America has grown and has become a leading supplier of carbide sawing machines to the automotive forging market, steel service centers and high production machine shops. Pat Mooney Saws produces the load tables in their Addison, Illinois plant. Our highly trained service and technical support staff is available to support the NHC machines in person and over the telephone and Internet. Our inventory of spare parts is on hand in our Addison plant to support the machines in the field. Pat Mooney Saws also supplies high performance KANEFUSA saw blades to offer the lowest cost per cut in the industry. A large inventory of saw blades is available in stock for same day shipment. NHC OPTIONS TO REDUCE THE REMNANT IN AUTO CYCLE ND Models The ND is designed to greatly reduce the amount of the remnant in auto cycle. Once the amount of incoming bar is less than remnant end + cut length, the machine will automatically shift the length setting device to a special NC controlled gripper vise on the out feed side of the saw blade. This device will grip the bar end from the out feed side of the saw blade and index to programmed cut length until the remnant is only 20mm (varies by model). Available in NON- FERROUS Models with 3000 RPM NHC+1 Device The NHC + 1 Device can be added to NHC machines in the field. It consists of an additional NC axis and gripper that will index a final good part from a bar end, leaving @ 20mm as the remnant end.
MATERIAL HANDLING Exterior Material Handling System Parts Discharge Handling Inclined Bar Loading Magazine Solid One Piece Welded Construction Built to Last Hydraulic Operation The NHC Inclined Load Magazine and Bundle rack provide for automatic loading of bars to the NHC system. The Heavy Duty Bundle rack is a flat steel table to accept a bundle of bars. This table is built to take the abuse of loading via an overhead crane or fork truck. The inclined loading magazine holds a number of bars and loads the bars one by one into the machine. Both Structures are single piece welded construction to handle 20-24 foot bars, as standard and up to 40 foot bars as required. The inclined tables are made from heavy duty structural steel tubing. These units are made in our Addison, Illinois plant. Units can be equipped with optional power rollers, as well as made for outside installation. KANEFUSA SAW BLADES High Performance Single Use Saw Blades To complement the fast and accurate performance of our Nishijimax Systems, we offer three types of Kanefusa throw away blades: our most popular TA-4 high performance and versatile blades; our ST-4 higher grade blades for more demanding applications; and our TI-4 featuring coated blade technology. All of these saw blades allow for faster material cutting with much less material loss due to kerf. Chipbreaker technology enables every tooth to remove an entire chip.
