CDF, TOP, and STC SERVICES SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE I. PURPOSE: This sources sought notice is to request information for planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to solicit responses from interested suppliers to determine which are capable of providing the potential services described for the following type of material handling services: Consolidated Deconsolidated Facilities (CDF) for Standard Mail Terminal Handling Services Optimization Program (TOP) for First Class Mail Networks Programs Surface Transfer Centers (STC) II. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES SOUGHT: The U.S. Postal Service has a need to procure CDF, TOP, and STC services to several U.S. geographical locations for mail handling services. It is important to understand the sources available that can meet potential future demands. Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this notice for each of the three types of material handling contracts. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to solicit responses from interested suppliers to determine which are capable of providing potential mail handling services for the U.S. Postal Service for the locations identified in Attachment A (USPS Service Locations). A statement of the general work requirements is also attached in Attachment B (USPS General Statement of Work Requirements). ATTACHMENT B USPS CDF, TOP, and STC Services Sources Sought General Statement of Work Requirements CDF, TOP, and STC Mail Handling services are needed at the locations listed in Attachment A (USPS CDF, TOP, and STC Services Service Locations). Services may be required daily, including holidays. The services and the number of jobs are purely based on the needs of the Postal Service. The frequency and the number of jobs vary without a discernible basis on which to project an estimated frequency or estimated annual number of jobs. In order to meet its mail handling needs, the Postal Service reserves the right to utilize excess space at other mail handling locations to sort at the locations identified in Attachment A.
