Patron Spirits International AG: Company Profile: In 1989 the Paul Mitchell Systems co-founder Jon Paul de Joria and entrepreneur Martin Crowley launched The Patrón Spirits Company, which is now based in Las Vegas (US). The ultimate goal of Patrón is nothing less than producing the best tequila in the world. Therefore, they use the 100% pure Weber blue agave, growing in the hills of Jalisco in Mexico. The entire production at Patrón is made by hand. The attention for details during the production combined with the ambition to produce premium spirits makes Patrón Tequila the world s No. 1 ultra-premium tequila. Patrón Tequila continues to set new sales records every year and was the first spirit brand in its price point category to sell one million cases. Twelve distinctive ultrapremium products now comprise The Patrón Spirits Company portfolio: Gran Patrón Burdeos tequila, Gran Patrón Piedra tequila, Gran Patrón Platinum tequila, Patrón Añejo tequila, Patrón Reposado tequila, Patrón Silver tequila, Patrón XO Cafe, Patrón Citrónge, Patrón XO Dark Cocoa, Pyrat Cask 1623 rum, Pyrat XO Reserve rum and Ultimat vodka - each of them the finest spirits in their category. Having its origins in Mexico and the United States it is no surprise that Patróns sales come to 85% from the U.S. Although Patrón products are available in 138 countries, for example in duty-free shops in ca. 114 airports worldwide, the company sees its greatest growth potential overseas. In order to implement Patrón products outside the U.S. market, the Patrón Spirits Company founded Patrón Spirits International AG with headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Today s revenues of Patrón are growing fast in the international markets. The target of the Patrón Company is to double the sales volume within 3-5 years. As the international business is growing fast, the Global Duty Free Division needs to be managed with a clear focus, and a structured approach: with dynamics, drive, efficiency and consistent approach to deliver the expected results.
