New Technology to Improve Event Experience US Food is committed to continually providing an excellent experience at each Food Fanatics LIVE event. Because of this we upgraded our lead generation platform which features an all new Food Fanatics LIVE App This App is loaded on a phone or other mobile device and is a cloud based system. Easier to use for customers and vendors providing more information on your mobile device. The new App is a live real time system providing immediate access to your information and leads on the event floor. 2

The New Food Fanatics Live App Use the App before, during and after the Food Fanatics Live event Customers, Vendor, and USF Staff download the App. Customers can prepare for Food Fanatics LIVE before attending by viewing vendors stage demos and creating a to do list for My Event. Use the Food Finder Scanner within the App to scan codes at booths for info on products, vendors, recipes, and request information e-mailed. Get the most from your Food Fanatics Live experience! Download the new Food Fanatics App on August 1. Available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 3

VENDOR APP INTERACTION Vendors booths can be viewed in the App: Features vendor contact info, appointment scheduling or US Foods sales rep. Customers receive announcements within the App for updates and information Vendors will receive information on the App as well as through the vendor portal Vendors are encouraged to share menu concept pictures and ideas from their booths via social media accounts. Additional sponsorship opportunities will be made for vendors with announcements and possible drawings, as well as ad banners at the bottom 4

Food Finder QR Code Scanner Each booth will feature a booth sign which contains a unique QR code, vendor booth number and name. Customers use the Food Finder Scanner button within the App to scan the code and receive product info, recipes and more. Each time a customer scans your sign, you receive a customer and product specific lead. Remember to ASK customers to scan so you can follow up with them! The booth signs will be slightly revised to the previous versions featured to the right. 5

Food Fanatics Live App Vendor Benefits Vendors maximize their exposure with potential customers via the App. Vendors share their profile, contact information, marketing materials, web-site links, recipes, and products in their booths with all attendees via the App. Vendors will receive customer and product specific leads in real time for immediate follow-up. Customers will have access to your virtual booth before, during and after the event. Product information will not be loaded until the day of the show to ensure attendance. Customers can download your materials and schedule an appointment with you. 6

Vendor Check List 1. Attend the Food Fanatic LIVE kick off meeting 2. Reviews the participation opportunities and sponsorships with Region Category Management team and commitment form for booth space and additional sponsorships. 1. The vendor participation form will serve as back up and will be used to deduct all show fees 3. We need a lead vendor contact who will be responsible for the booth space as well as the contact person for all of their booth App communications and lead reporting. 4. Register each of your booths (MB and EB) 1. Make sure all personnel who will be working the booth are listed in the registration 2. Doing this will serve to expedite security and staffing arrangements at the FFL events 5. A list of suggested Area/Market products will be sent to you after the vendor meeting. 1. Carefully review these suggested products from the COM/RCM team- two way communication if you have changes or additions. 6-15 items max for each vendor 7

Vendor Check List 1. You will be receiving an email to log onto the Vendor Portal 1. This is the area where you will be uploading your Point of Sale, Menu Concepts and any other pertinent information 2. You will receive an ALERT email letting you know the address, logon and password 2. After you receive your portal log on email make sure that you log on and review the site immediately 1. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO REVIEW! 2. Time is of essence- have your data gathered and organized so when you start to upload you have everything available 3. Review the suggested products with what you have discussed with your Category Management contact 4. Update and upload any POS or company information that you have (detailed instructions follow) 8

Vendor Registration 1. Navigate to the registration URL: http://events.foodfanatics.com/events 2. Select the event you plan to attend. 3. Select registration type Vendor. This will be the first step in getting your personnel assigned, preparing name badges. The next step will be reviewing information within the Vendor Portal and uploading content. This will be the first and only time for this show that you visit and input information into this site. 9

Registration 4. Enter your company name, and click the magnifying glass. 5. Select your company name. 6. Answer the vendor questions, and click Continue. 10

Registration 7. Complete the registration information for the first individual representing the vendor. Click Add Attendee. Repeat as necessary for each individual. 8. When all attendees have been entered, click Confirm. 11

Registration 9. A confirmation page will then be displayed. The QR code provided can be used to print the badge on site. Use Print to print the page or Back to return to the registration process. 10. We will have preprinted badges for all of your booth staff. You will be given your badges upon show check in during move in. NO NEED TO PRINT THIS QR CODE! 12

Lead Management- EXPECTATIONS TRAIN Vendors who actively train or inform the show personnel and help them to engage with customers to scan their Food Finder QR code sign will see significantly higher leads. Please make sure everyone has a basic HOW TO knowledge and the app downloaded onto their phones. ENGAGE Encourage customers after each discussion to scan your sign for access to product information, recipes, you web-site, and more. Tell them that this will allow you to follow up with them after the show and make sure they get the samples or information that you have promised them FOLLOW UP Customer and product specific leads will available to all qualifying participating vendors during and after the show through the vendor portal. The main contact person for each vendor booth will have access to leads. You can also assign additional contacts that can download the information, this is great for Brokers and MFG reps. US Foods sales team will also be provided with all leads for their customers for each event for follow-up. As you work with our sellers, please team up to follow-up on customer interests and assist to close the sale. 13

VENDOR PORTAL Once the final list of vendors has been determined and vendor products have been set. Three things will happen: VENDOR PORTAL ALERT EMAIL- Login and Password information. LOGIN TO PORTAL- Review products and information on portal for accuracy. UPDATE/ADD MATERIAL- Add menu concepts and any current point of sale 14

VENDOR PORTAL Vendor Profile BASIC INFORMATION 1. On the Profile tab, select the Basic Information tab. 2. Basic information entered on this tab will be displayed in the app. 3. Fill out or edit the available fields. Click Save. Click Cancel to remove new edits. Use Change Password to manage the login password. 15

VENDOR PORTAL Vendor Profile COMPANY PROFILE MARKETING MATERIALS 1. On the Profile tab, select the Marketing Materials tab. 2. General Company marketing materials should entered on this tab. These items will be displayed in the mobile app in the Company information section. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the location where you will enter product SPECIFIC materials. That will be covered shortly. 16

VENDOR PORTAL Vendor Profile COMPANY PROFILE MARKETING MATERIALS 3. To add new general materials, click Add. Enter the display name for the content. To upload a related file, click Browse, navigate to the document on your computer or network, and click Upload. Click Save to register new material, or click Cancel to abort the process. Repeat for each material. We highly suggest that you convert all materials to PDF format so all customers have the ability to view them. 17

VENDOR PORTAL Vendor Profile COMPANY PROFILE MARKETING MATERIALS 4. To edit existing materials, click Edit for an entry; once clicked, the label will change to Update/Cancel. Edit the display name or use Remove to select a new related file. Click Update or Cancel. Click Save to register all changes. 18

VENDOR PORTAL Vendor Profile SEARCH KEYWORDS 1. On the Profile tab, select the Search Keywords tab. 2. Keywords entered on this tab will be used in the mobile app to include your vendor profile in users searches. 3. VENDOR PORTAL Product Information 1. Select the Products tab. 2. All vendor products have been pre-selected by the Category Management team and will appear here. This list will has been reviewed previously and should be correct. However, if you have changes please contact your RCM or COM teams. 21

VENDOR PORTAL Product Information 3. To add new products, click New. Note: You have the ability to add new products, however all of your additions will go through an approval process. Please make sure that you have communicated any product additions or they will be rejected. a. On the Details tab, enter the product name and description. To upload an image, click Add, then click Browse, navigate to the file, and click Upload. 22

VENDOR PORTAL Product Detail Information 3b. On the Marketing Materials tab, click Add. Enter the display name. To upload a related file, click Browse, navigate to the file, and click Upload. Enter a description. Click Update or Cancel. Repeat for each products material. Make sure that these documents are converted to a PDF format. You can add up to 5 documents for each product. Please make sure that the POS or documentation reflects the individual products that you have selected. 23

VENDOR PORTAL Product Information 4. If you need to edit existing products, highlight and select the line and make entry. Edit product name, description, and image on the Detail tab. Edit product marketing materials on the Marketing Materials tab. Click Save or Cancel. Please make sure that you are NOT changing any information that is critical to product description. If you want to extend abbreviations make sure you are clear on that attribute or abbreviation. 25

The registrant designated during the event registration process as the exhibitor s primary contact will be able to view the LEADS USERS tab when logged into the exhibitor portal. 2. Repeat as necessary. It is important to note that this list reflects the people that you have registered in the first step. If a person is not showing up in this list it means that they have not been registered to work this particular booth. You can go back and add them to the registration site at any time. 30

Lead Management Viewing and Exporting 1. The registrant designated during the event registration process as the exhibitor s primary contact will be able to view the My Leads tab when logged into the exhibitor portal. 2. The My Leads lists display all leads segmented by how each individual entered the lead retrieval system user scanned by the exhibitor, via the mobile app, or exhibitor scanned by the user. 31

Lead Management Viewing and Exporting 3. The Export tab enables you to export an Excel file containing all of the lead information into one spreadsheet with three worksheets. Click on the Export tab and then click Export Leads. NOTE: Information displayed on the app/portal will be condensed and not contain ALL of the data fields. It is imperative that you download the files in order to receive the entire data set. 32
