Thanks to its discrete and sleek design, the Design acoustic housing matches both modern and classic houses. A heat pump offers many advantages when it comes to comfort, consumption and the environment. But sometimes the noise can be annoying, for example when the unit is near a bedroom window, on a terrace or close to the neighbours. Exterior heat pumps or air conditioners are not exactly pinnacles of aesthetics and don t make for a beautiful union with the house or garden. With the Design acoustic housing you get two for the price of one. The Design acoustic housings dampen the sound considerably and they look handsome and discrete. Durables Weather can be wild. That s why the construction is made of durable materials, tested for all weather circumstances. Ingenious design Design A heat pump unit does not look very good to the eye. The acoustic housing offers a nice dress up. Not too noticeable and stylishly black. The aid of an installer is, however, needed for the cooling lines and drainage of run-off water. With the help of 6 feet and bolts, the cover is anchored, preferably on a gravel bed with concrete beams (see installation instructions at www.solflex.eu). For the installation on a flat roof, we have special mounting plates available that ensure safe attachment. The plates are in turn anchored to synthetic roof plinths that support the heat pump. The panels can be removed easily so it is easy to maintain your heat pump. 2

The SUPER silent acoustic enclosure with more than 25 db(a)* noise reduction for units with vertical air discharge. 25 db Professional sound reduction thanks to a double-walled housing in a beautiful and form-perfect construction. The housing serves mainly as a problem solution for all noise disturbances and compliance with all legal regulations (including statutory night rest). Furthermore, access to the thus protected outdoor unit is prevented for unauthorized persons. 9

The enclosure consists of a stable aluminium frame construction with inwardly screwed connectors. By default, the enclosure comes with a 50mm thick insulation. The inner plate consists of perforated galvanized steel with a mesh size of 50x50x10mm. The outside plate is standard powder coated in RAL9010 (pure white). Between the double-walled plates, there is a layer of non-combustible glass fibre insulation that is protected by a resistant and water-repellent coating on the side of the perforated plate. The pressure loss of the Quiet / Super Quiet soundproofing hood depends on the air volume of the installed heat pump or AC system. Acoustic screens 25 db This simple option of sound reduction by means of sound insulation walls is the cheapest solution (250 ** / m²) to solve noise problems as quickly as possible. The supplied 1.5 mm thick U-plates are fastened to the floor, the 100 mm thick walls are simply inserted and fastened with drill screws. The individual elements are connected by means of double-u plates supplied. Available in any size.
