New Supermarket Building March 13, 2017 ADDENDUM NO. 2 The following changes, additions, or deletions shall be made to the following documents as indicated and shall be a part thereof as if originally specified and/or shown. Specifications: 1. Section 08320: Add section. Clarifications: 1. The specs and wall types call for EIFS over Tyvek Commercial Wrap. The specs state for the EIFS to mechanically fastened as well as adhesively attached to provide a drainage plane. This system doesn t make sense. You would either see a mechanically fastened system with a Tyvek stucco wrap (provides the drainage plane) or a fluid applied WRB with adhesively attached EPS (vertical trowel to provide drainage). A mechanically fastened system is not ideal as labor costs are higher and it also creates more locations for the building envelope to fail (with all the penetrations). Can you get the architect to clarify exactly what they want so we are all bidding apples to apples. If they want a paper WRB product it will need to be stucco wrap or some type of drainage mat behind the foam. Again this system is not recommended by most manufacturers. Response: Provide an adhesively attached system, similar to TeifsFlex EIFS as manufactured by TEIFS. 2. The Civil drawings do not show the existing grading or the desired grade for the Outlying parcels under Segregated Pricing #1. Can you please provide? Response: See attached C1.02 & C1.02B. Mercier Architecture & Planning 3. Both 18/S5.2 and 14/S5.3 call out the steel bent frames at the entry roof as 10" x 4' x 1/4" TS. The 10/S5.3 roof plan calls out 10" x 4" x 3/8" TS. Please clarify. Response: See attached CS-03 4. Please see attached detail 20/S5.23. This detail is called out on the S5.3 high roof plan. The HSS beam shown below the WF beam doesn't appear to be called out on S5.3 high roof plan, S2.2 roof plan, or any elevation/sections. Does it exist, or is this a bad detail? Response: See attached CS-03. 5. Sheet A2.2 calls for the 2 canopy undersides to be painted to match the roof. Section N-A4.7 sends us to detail 21 & 22 on sheet A8.1 which says this location gets a perforated soffit. Please confirm that you want the soffit painted to match the roof color? Response: The large entry tower receives the metal soffit panels. The canopies that cover the widows, outdoor storage, etc have the underside of structure exposed and are to be painted to match the roof panel color. 1 P a g e

6. CE-2: For the lights on the south side of SH 54, the Contractor shall complete the trenching to the existing KEC power pole approximately 140 feet south of the edge of pavement. Prior Approvals: Drawing/Section # Item Manufacturer None Mercier Architecture & Planning 2 P a g e
