Schöntal-Sindeldorf Today s head office of the company AWS Fertigungstechnik GmbH in Schöntal-Sindeldorf is located in the idyllic region of the Hohenloher Land. In 1976 the first production area was set up here. Over the course of time, various annexes and new buildings were added to the original area to create a production, storage and administrative area of more than 2500sqm. Nearly 50 people are currently employed in Sindeldorf, home of the administration, purchase, sales and assembly. It is a factory for the production of single parts and small series as well as storage division for parts and finished products of AWS Fertigungstechnik GmbH. Forchtenberg Pößneck In 1999 a new subsidiary was founded in Pößneck. Here, in 2100sqm of newly constructed production and administrative premises, high precision turning and milling parts in average-size batches are being produced for our own and our customer s requirements on the latest CNC lathes and CNC machining centers by meanwhile approximately 60 employees. Forchtenberg in the Kocher valley is the place of business of the company AWS Apparatebau Arnold GmbH since 2007. Main products of this location with 35 employees are check valves, one of the main pillars of the company for over 38 years, as much as valve technology. Own developments, efficient stock-keeping and production of single parts in the AWS group guarantee a high level of flexibility and the readiness for short-term shipments.

We can produce precision turned and milling parts out of many different materials metal like stainless steel, cast-steel, aluminum or brass and also plastic materials like PVC, PP or PVDF are as possible as many special materials. We rework your turned parts from Ø 3 to Ø 90 mm from bar. Lining works are possible up to Ø 400 mm. For the milled parts a range up to 100 x 300 x 500 mm is possible. We offer you an optimal service through a combination of our production set-up and best outside specialist procurement arrangements for required components (springs, joints, connections, cast parts, punched and bent parts, stamped parts, etc.). A very wide range of assemblies and connections, like screws, adhesive, shrinkage, squeezers, rivets, welding, soldering, etc. are possible and can be realized by skilled staff. With our own test benches, own component assembly and permanent control of our quality department we provide you with a full-service including necessary pressure and leak tightness test, test reports, type approval test and prototype test reports. Automatic assembly machines For big quantities we use automated assembly facilities, which are adapted for your products.

On request it is also possible to provide us your own parts. More than 30 years experience with varied mounting and connection technology and qualified staff grant the high quality and reliability. Our range of valve technology includes 2/2-way and 3/2-way, direct acting, servo controlled and force pilot operated valves with all common operating voltages as well as air controlled designs. Depending on the design the valves are suitable for neutral, aggressive, liquid and gaseous media. Additional valves like strainers, pressure relief valves, manually and automatic operated ball valves complete our program. We quote you our complete service of the pressure and tightness tests on our own test benches for the component assembly as well as for the valve technology. Material certificates, type approval test, certificates and declarations of conformity will be created according to request. In cooperation with the customer, the sales and construction department and our high-quality CAD opportunities we are able to create modifications and optimizations on all products.

Check valves wafer type AWS check valves wafer types are produced in many different materials and material combinations for the most different applications and pressure ranges. The valves are used in the section of process technology, process engineering, shipbuilding and general industrial plant manufacturing as well as in the sanitary and heating section with liquid and gaseous media. can quote you an all around service for all products. Every valve is checked on pressure and tightness before delivery. If necessary we can also do the material test and create a type approval test certificate according to DIN EN 10204 as well as the declaration of conformity and the CE marking. The check valves wafer type (especially space-saving design) are standardly produced in cast steel zinc-plated, stainless steel (different alloys), plastic materials (PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PVDF) and aluminum bronze. Other materials are possible on request. With the different seals (NBR, EPDM, Viton, PTFE and metal seated) nearly all possible applications are covered. They are mounted between DIN and ANSI flange in horizontal and vertical piping systems. The pressure range is covered till PN40 and ANSI300 as standard. Higher pressures on request. Dual plate check valves (low pressure loss and high flow rate) are also produced in many different material combinations and the same seal as mentioned above. The hydrodynamic characteristics are excellent and allow for example an optimized pump selection cost reduction. Lift check valves (so called Disco valves) complete the program of the check valves.
