Annual University Club Fair: The Annual University Club Fair is held every year in National Taiwan University. In 2005, there were more than 70 clubs attended in this fair on May 21. We presented the activities of SPIE NTU Student Chapter and attracted many attentions during the event. SPIE NTU Student Chapter received the Award of the Excellent Club and cash NT$ 2,000. as the reward. Symposium Photonics / Nano-Science & Technology Laboratory (PNSTL) of National Taiwan University had organized a joint workshop (Taiwan-Japan) 3 rd Symposium on Nanophotonics Science and Technology (SNST3) in Taroko, Hualien, Taiwan during September 13-18, 2005. SPIE NTU Student Chapter is one of the coordinators of SNST3. Eleven of our members have participated in this workshop. There were twenty invited and five contributed talks which are showed as below. The symposium attracted more than 50 participants including 15 speakers from Japan, 10 professors from Taiwan, and 25 students. After the symposium, we had an excursion in the Taroko National Park and visited the most beautiful valleys in Taiwan.
