P R O D U C T D A T A EDGE-FLEX 235 Maximm performance edge sealer specifically formlated for se on concrete form panels. HOW IT WORKS EDGE-FLEX 235 prevents the absorption of highly alkaline concrete bleed water into the edges of plywood and oriented strand board (OSB) concrete form panels by penetrating the edges and sealing off the wood fibers with an extremely drable, yet very elastic, film which expands and contracts with the sbstrate. APPLICATIONS Use in sealing the edges of all types of manfactred wood form panels, inclding plywood and oriented strand board (OSB) to be sed in concrete forming applications. Use to seal all field-ct panel edges and snap-tie holes. For reapplication over poor performing mill applied edge sealants. Essential for se on all manfactred wood form panels to be sed in the prodction of architectral concrete. ADVANTAGES Completely resistant to the higher alkalinity of many modern concrete mix designs. Redces alkaline water absorption throgh panel edges by p to 95%. By minimizing water absorption into the panel edges, wood sgar and tannin migration is simltaneosly minimized, redcing concrete color variations, staining and concrete srface dsting. Significantly redces panel edge swelling and the related elevation variations from panel to panel that are commonly seen in gang forming applications. Panel elevation variations yield nsightly concrete srface elevation variations that are often nacceptable to owners and are costly to repair. Panel life is greatly increased. This is especially tre with higher performance overlaid panels (HDO, PSF and CBF) where panel failre almost always originates at the edges. Provides excellent resistance to ltra-violet radiation from the sn. Exceptional resistance to commonly sed form oils and form release agents. DOT classified as non-flammable and non-combstible and is considered safe to apply nder most manfactring or field conditions. Unlike competitive edge sealers, EDGE-FLEX 235 is not only available to plywood and OSB prodcers, bt is also available to concrete forming contractors throgh local concrete form and accessory distribtors throghot North America. Green Engineered better for health and the environment. Meets all federal and state VOC reqirements. PRECAUTIONS Do not apply to wet sbstrates. Do not apply to sbstrates that have been covered with a form oil or other coating/srface treatment that cold interfere with the proper penetration and adhesion of EDGE-FLEX 235. Do not overapply. Excess application of EDGE-FLEX 235 that reslts in rns, drips or excess on offset panel edges can gle stacked panels together nless excess is removed from the face and back of panels before drying. Protect from freezing. If allowed to freeze, prodct packaging may rptre and the emlsion stability of this prodct may be affected, making it difficlt to keep prodct mixed dring application. Prodct which is sspected of freezing shold not be sed. Verify that prodct is within the USE BY date stated on prodct packaging. Do not se expired prodct. The se of expired prodct may reslt in poor prodct performance or failre. Treated sbstrates shold be protected from exposre to water and freezing temperatres ntil the EDGE-FLEX 235 application has completely dried. Prodct dry time will vary depending on the ambient temperatre and relative hmidity at the time of application. The dry time at 70 0 F (21 0 C) and 50% relative hmidity is approximately 1 hor. USE INSTRUCTIONS Reqest crrent prodct literatre, labels and material safety data sheets from manfactrer and read thoroghly before prodct se. EDGE-FLEX 235 form treatments n o x - c r e t tm e chemical soltions to concrete problems

Site environmental conditions, sbstrate conditions and constrction have a major impact on prodct selection, application methods, procedres and rates, appearance and performance. Prodct literatre provides general information applicable to some conditions. However, an adeqate site test application by the prchaser or installer in advance of field scale se is mandatory (irrespective of any other verbal or written representations) to verify that prodct and qantities prchased can be satisfactorily applied and will achieve desired appearance and performance nder intended se conditions. Ambient air and sbstrate temperatres mst be in excess of 40 0 F (5 0 C). Mix thoroghly before sing and intermittently dring se. Apply to panel edges sing a brsh, roller or airless spray eqipment in two sccessive coats, applying the second coat immediately after applying the first coat (wet on wet). Avoid rns or drips in both coats. The application rate of EDGE-FLEX 235 varies with the sbstrate porosity and saw ct roghness. Typical combined effective application rate for both coats is 100-150 sf/gal (2.5-3.75 sm/l) for optimm masking properties and performance. Application eqipment shold be cleaned with water immediately after se. EDGE-FLEX 235 develops a skin within a few mintes after application. Once this skin develops, water will no longer remove the coating and an aromatic solvent sch as xylene mst be sed. P R O D U C T D A T A NOX-CRETE PCE Maximm performance, biodegradable, water based, chemically active concrete form release agent. NOX-CRETE PCE dries to form a togh, transparent, wax-like film which physically becomes welded to the form srface. Upon contact with cement, it chemically reacts to form a soapy film that allows trapped air and free water to escape dring vibration, minimizing srface voids and providing a smooth, niform concrete finish. HOW IT WORKS APPLICATIONS Use on steel, high density plastic, fiberglass, rbber, formliners and HDO, PSF and CBF overlaid plywood forms. Use where form design creates extended srface area or shallow draft which may case mechanical bonding/binding. Use where treated forms are sbject to heavy rain, foot traffic or other adverse conditions prior to concrete placement. Use with mix designs containing high amonts of fly ash, silica fme or high range water redcers. Use where governmental and/or se conditions prohibit petrolem or solvent vapors for health and/ or safety reasons. ADVANTAGES 100% biodegradable formlation. Prodces niformly white architectral concrete srfaces with sbstantially fewer srface voids (bgholes). Provides maximm release and concrete performance with low slmp high density (LSHD) and/ or sperplasticized concrete mix designs. Dries to form a non-slippery film that prevents contamination of prestress cables. Maximm resistance to removal by heavy rain, foot traffic, rnning water and scoring dring placement of concrete. Contains a corrosion inhibitor designed to prevent flash rsting. Redces binding. Non-staining. Redces form cleaning and maintenance costs -- forms become self-cleaning with contined se. Less sensitive to application rate variations than other chemically active form release agents. Can be applied to damp forms. Does not impair the natral bonding characteristics of sbseqently applied paint or other srface coatings with proper srface preparation. Green Engineered better for health and the environment. Meets all federal and state VOC reqirements. Meets the California Air Qality Rle 1113 reqirements. PRECAUTIONS Water based, chemically active form release agents are not visible on applied srfaces once dry. This is normal and does not affect release agent performance. After form stripping, a white, powdery film will be present on form srfaces. This cases no adverse affects on the form or the concrete and shold not be confsed with bildp. Do not se on alminm, paper, medim density overlays (MDO) or absorbent wood form srfaces. For sch applications, se NOX-CRETE FORM COATING or FORM COATING E. Do not se on open cell Styrofoam. For sch applications se NOX-CRETE FORM COATING E. Do not dilte. Diltion may case adverse reaction, separation and render prodct nsitable for se. Protect from freezing. Prodct which is sspected of freezing shold not be sed. Verify that prodct is within the USE BY date stated on prodct packaging. Do not se expired prodct. The se of expired prodct may reslt in poor prodct performance or failre. Do not apply if temperatre is at or below 32 0 F (0 0 C). Freezing temperatres occrring after applied NOX- CRETE PCE has dried does not affect prodct performance.
