The joints between the parquet elements are critical when it comes to protection against the ingress of water which is why all hüma PRODUCT LINES feature a waterproof rubber joint that is applied to the parquet element by means of injection moulding technology. Injection moulding is also used to give the parquet an innovative joint geometry, the hüma SNAPCON. hüma PARQUET is extremely easy to lay and does not require any further treatment. Oak is a hard and robust type of wood with an attractive grain and the timeless aesthetics of plank flooring. The multilayer parquet with waterproof thermoplastic elastomer joints consists of a premium quality 1-strip-thick veneer with a thickness of 3.5 mm. SURFACE FINISHING hüma HYDRO PARQUET: Our HYDRO product line has an oiled surface and uses high solid oils that are completely free of solvents. The oil penetrates deep into the pores and impregnates the wood, resulting in a smooth, natural wood appearance. Our HYDRO PARQUET lives alongside you and develops a character of its own. Design The new manufacturing process of injection molding makes it possible to create any colour joint. Apart from its technical specifications, the joints from hüma HYDRO PARQUET allows for a wide range of design versatility and enables new concepts for spaces. Installation technique Thanks to the patent pending hüma SNAPCON, vertical installation is possible. Undercuts bring about friction in all alignments. There is no problem installing between long and narrow side. Multiple usage possible.
