History Established in 2007 by MR Pramod Shishodia. Rana consists of two Divisions, MHE Division and Storage Division. Loading Dock Division manufactures a complete line of Loading Dock Equipment, and Dock Shelters. Storage Division focuses on Custom Designed Ware house solution 10+ Years Industry Experience

Capacity What is Static Capacity? The amount of evenly distributed static weight that a Dock Leveler can support in the stored position. What is Dynamic Capacity? The total rolling load that a Dock Leveler can safely support while the lip is resting on the truck/trailer bed. Industry Standards are rated using Static Capacity. Determine Static Capacity Determine Impact Factor (I) What is the Impact Factor? Multiplier used to compensate for the forces applied by a moving load. For normal applications, RANA uses a minimum impact factor of 2.5 for its standard series of Dock Levelers and a 2.0 for its Ultima series Dock Levelers.
A brief introduction to how folding-lip hydraulic dock levellers function. Rana Dock Products Performance at every desired level Rana Dock Levelers mean profit on the shop floor by bringing height differentials between trucks and docks the easy way, thereby reducing loading and unloading time and decreasing the likelihood of damage and accidents. Because interruption means loss of time and money. Rana puts the emphasis on quality; long warranty on essential parts is concrete proof of this. All these advantages results in a trouble free use for years on end in recovering the costs in a relatively short period of time. Dock Leveler is an adjustable ramp used between the transport vehicle and despatch area of the warehouse or factory for efficient material transfer applications. It fulfils the following two functions: Bridges the gap between the dispatch area and the transport vehicle and co mpensates for variations in the truck bed height. When the DOCK LEVELER is in operation, it is fixed to the building and rests on the bed of the truck. Depending o n the type, the Dock Leveler is placed on its position manually or power operated. Two thick fabric core molded bumpers, along with Dock leveler placed as part of the building, acts as a safety cushion for the building and the truck. The rugged design and relatively simple construction of the Dock Leveler leaves few maintenance requirements. Do ck Levelers are one of the simplest devices ideally suitable for Indian conditions because of their ease in operation and ruggedness for not only helping the loading and unloading of trucks easily but also reducing the turnaround time of trucks very substantially Park truck at loa ding bay. Lift up the deck. Lower lip smoothly on to the truck bed. Transfer goods. Drive truck away. The material transfer is accomplished safely and smooth in a matter of minutes. Dock Bumpers Molded Rubber Basic style of bumper Can easily wear due to air ride suspensions. Laminated--Provide good wear protection against air ride trailers. Steel Faced Provides the best protection against air ride wear issues. Trucks can generate up to 300,000 lb of force at the dock. Air Ride Suspensions increase the wear on a bumper. Longer Bumpers are recommended to protect the wall from Air Ride trailers that can move vertically 6 to 8 Bumper length will depend on dock height and trailer height.
