NEW PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST The purpose of this checklist is to ensure that all environmental requirements are identified during the project-planning phase for all new projects including construction, testing, CRADAs, licenses, and leases. Accurate completion of this checklist will reduce project delays by providing sufficient time to perform environmental evaluations to determine the need for design changes and/or environmental permits. In many cases, environmental permits are needed before construction begins and due to the lengthy permit application process it is important that these environmental issues be addressed during the design phase.
