Mineral wool is classified as carcinogenic, category 3, according to the CLP (EG nr 1272/2008). If the fibre complies with one out of four conditions according to note Q in CLP, the fibre will not be classified as carcinogenic. The product contains a mineral wool which fulfils the criteria concerning biological solubility and is because of that not classified as carcinogenic, tested according to an EU record ECB/TM 26:27 rev 7 1998.
