Spike Pre-Expane PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Spike anchor, also known as the Rawl Spike, is a patente, one-piece, tamper-proof vibration resistant anchor for use in concrete, block or stone. Several hea styles an anchor materials are available. The Spike anchor is forme with an s shape configuration at the working en of the anchor to create an expansion mechanism. Since the anchor is pre-expane, there is no seconary tightening operation require which greatly reuces the overall cost of an anchor installation. Once seate at the require embement, resiual spring forces evelope in the expansion mechanism provies three compression forces at the bottom of the anchor hole. When subjecte to vibratory loas, the Spike will expan ue to the resiual spring action of the expansion mechanism.
