Note: F thermocouples with diameters less than 3 mm OD, the insulation resistance test at 500 VAC can not be achieved. It will be done at lower voltage, depending on the diameter. F grounded thermocouples this test can not be done. Therefe extra precautions shall be taken as these thermocouples are not free from earth ( not at requested 500VAC), which means suitable barriers have to be used.
