1 Aseptic Processing Requirements FDA Guidance For Industry Sterile Drug Products Produced by Aseptic Processing Class 100.000 Grade D Class 10.000 Grade C filtration preparation formulation Equipment & Components preparation Isolator RAB LAF Class 100 Fillling & Closing A well designed barrier isolator appears appears to offer an advantage over classical aseptic processing, including fewer opportunities for microbial contamination during processing. A Class 10,000 or Class 100,000 background is appropriate depending on isolator design and manufacturing situations. 31/05/2011 Page 4
