7 PROCESS Over time, we have developed skills and knowledge that positions us as leaders in turnkey solutions for railway component repair or manufacturing workshops. A profound knowledge of the process, closely linked with customer needs, is one of these key skills. Thanks to current process and production simulation technologies and to virtual factory models, we are capable of anticipating problems and providing collaborative solutions that determine the processes and production flow more effectively. EQUIPMENT We have developed our own key range of machines and equipment aimed at the needs of the rail sector. In addition to our own equipment, we can also take responsibility for defining, incorporating and validating equipment from third parties to offer the best comprehensive solution. AUTOMATION We design and implement automation for the whole production line, including machines, auxiliary equipment, robots, manipulators, etc. as well as the customisation and installation of our own complete monitoring and control software for the total production line with all its elements. PROJECT MANAGEMENT We are very strict in our compliance with deadlines, cost and quality during all stages of the project, through an integral project management focus (PMP certification), with special attention paid to the final acceptance stages, start-up and training for these types of solutions and ensuring an efficient supplier-customer transfer. LIFE CYCLE SERVICES We offer a set of engineering services (TSS, customised maintenance, operational support, process and production simulation), which provide support in the production line operation phase; hence, we cover each of the lifecycle phases of the turnkey solution.

DIGITAL MANUFACTURING The use of Digital Manufacturing tools allows us to make faster, more reliable and smarter decisions in the design and development of turnkey projects for railways depots and new railway manufacturing plants. Modelling and virtual capabilities are enhanced with optimisation capabilities, so we can increase the efficiency of multi-stage production facilities for wheels, axles, wheelsets and bogies. PRODUCTION SIMULATION We use production simulation software to configure and optimise material flow, resource utilisation, logistics and flow control for all levels of plant planning. BENEFITS PROCESS SIMULATION We have customised a CAD/CAM system for our wide range of machines aimed at efficient and automatic part program generation. We also provide our machines with a customised post processor. The DANOBAT Control System provides a central remote operating station for an automated railway wheelshop or manufacturing facility to control, monitor, manage and supervise the progression of the components and equipment through the whole factory. Automation in the railway wheelset maintenance and manufacturing shop is the foundation for a complete shop transformation, resulting in significant benefits in operation repeatability, productivity, safety and profitability. An automated railway wheelset maintenance or manufacturing facility utilizes a variety of modern automation systems & technologies, such us: - Robots. - Portal gantries. - Cranes. - Turntables. - Automated Guided Vehicles. - Machine sensors. - Cyber Physical Systems. - Automation systems & technologies move components and assemblies throughout the workshop without human interaction. DANOBAT EQUIPMENT HG/WT GRINDING MACHINE - Ergonomic, rigid and stable design for higher accuracy. - Double wheelhead to work simultaneously and reduce machining cycle time. - Minimum cycle time by diameters, tapers and radius/ faces ground in the same plunge. - DANOBAT gives the best solution according to the type of axle (locomotive, high speed train, wagon...). - Wheels up to Ø750 x 350 mm or Ø915 x 300 mm driven by 45 kw motor, are assembled on hydrostatic bearing spindles, roller bearing or on DANOBAT designed electrospindles. - DANOBAT multi-diameter absolute in process/post process measuring system.
