Dosing valve Application: Where accurate dosing is required, a dosing valve can be used. Discharging and dosing in one go of your containers, drums, silos, etc. is no longer a problem. Our dosing valve is available in FDA design. Function: Up to now it was impossible to dose accurately by means of a butterfly valve, especially sticky products such as TiO 2, Magnesium Stearate, etc. These could barely be dosed in a regular flow. J-Tec s exclusive dosing valve solves your dosing problem: High frequency vibrations (16.000-18.000 vibrations/min) resolve cohesion between the powder particles or granules, and as a result they can pass through the valve as easily as if they were liquid. The continuous flow of product can easily be regulated, enabling large flow rates as well as accurate fine dosing. Even batch weighing with an accuracy of a few grams is possible. Weighing hopper Description: For putting together a recipe of large components, J-Tec builds special suction weighing hoppers for capacities of a couple of dozen kilograms up to many tons.
Batch systems Batch systems For putting together recipes with a lot of little components J-Tec has developed a batch system. The system consists of a large number of dosing units which dose very accurately (grams). The product is then picked up by a cart and dumped in the mixer. Applications Batch weighing will be chosen for typical cases such as: Combinations of conveying and weiging Batch processes such as blending, reactors, dissolvers, etc. Gain-in-Weight Batcher With a gain-in-weight batcher, the increase in weight of the collection hopper is measured. The scale s weight information is used to control each feeder. Maximum 8 ingredients are successively added to the scale. The advantage of this principle lies in the fact that only one scale for the collection hopper and one control unit are necessary, which reduces costs significantly. However, the total batch time is dependent on the number (batch times) of individual batch times necessary. A combination of large single batches with very small batches is only possible within limits (large taring values of the collection hopper). The feeders operate according to the gravimetric principle, but do not require their own scale systems.
