JOB TITLE: DEPARTMENT: REPORTS TO: FLSA STATUS: SALARY GRADE: SVP/Chief Information Officer Executive President and CEO Exempt SUMMARY: The Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer is responsible for the long-term strategic direction and implementation of technology that supports the Credit Unions objectives. He/She leads the acquisition and/or development and implementation of cost effective, efficient and secure systems as defined and requested by key stakeholders. He/She is responsible for recommending board policies, creating and/or updating departmental standard operating procedures, and operational plans that support the Credit Unions strategic business plans and performance metrics. The SVP/Chief Information Officer is responsible for direct management and leadership of the Information Technology Department and supports the development of the County Federal culture by ensuring effective internal client service along with developing the IT team, and continuously improving internal systems and processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Acts as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and advisor to the President/CEO on all IT related issues. Responsible for development of IT strategy and its alignment with the organizations overall business strategy Responsible for all IT related audit/exam remediation Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees (internal clients) to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing Credit Union goals. Fosters strong team development within the IT function, via open communication, information sharing and identifying educational opportunities for team members. Establishes annual objectives and develops plans to meet those objectives as dictated by the overall credit union business plan and long range strategic plan. Evaluate individual staff performance, hire train, coach and develop staff as appropriate. In consultation with VP of Human Resources promote, transfer, dismiss or change the status of employees. Responsible for Information Security program and policy management and oversight. Responsible for third party administration of all IT related vendors in compliance with the Credit Union vendor management program. Oversite of the County Federal IT project management lifecycle, project management procedures and project portfolios. Chair the organizations IT Governance and Project Steering Committee(s) to ensure that all organizational projects align with organizational goals, objectives and business plans. Ensure the proper maintenance, support, and functionality of all information systems including the organizations Host system, personal computers and devices, LAN/WAN operations, and telephone systems. 1

Lead organizational efforts around the use of data and business intelligence by providing appropriate systems, platforms and data governance. Responsible for substantial portions of the County Federal Disaster Recovery Plan and for managing the organizations IT Risk Management process in coordination with the Chief Risk Officer. Recommend any changes to vendor contracts and/ or service agreements. Stay abreast of new developments in information systems technology and anticipate organizational needs and modifications. Make recommendations to the President/CEO on applicable policies, facilities, and equipment needs. Responsible for Data Imaging operations including the file room or records storage on and offsite. Uphold the Credit Union philosophy and principles through the development and implementation of member driven and member friendly policies and day-to-day practices. Assist appropriate functional teams with the delivery of electronic member service delivery systems, home banking and mobile banking and ATM network. Assist Planning and Business Development in the development of products/services. Proactive role on behalf of the Credit Union in community outreach as well as participation in relevant professional associations. Defines appropriate limits of authority for IT personnel. Prepares and participates in all Executive Leadership Team meetings. Prepares and participates in Individual Dialog and coaching meetings. Prepares and participates in Organizational Dialog meetings. Timely reports elevated employee/membership issues to CEO. Prepares self-assessment and performance reviews timely. Performs other related duties as assigned by the CEO. SKILL REQUIRMENTS: Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and members. Effective in working with consultants, vendors, and outside agencies. Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving. Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure personnel and member-related issues are handled in a fair, consistent manner. Thorough understanding and high-level knowledge of the federal and state regulations and compliance requirements associated with the products and services offered by the Credit Union. Effective oral and written communication skills and leadership qualities. In depth experience managing and directing employees in a data processing environment with extensive experience and complete knowledge of all aspects of information management. 2
