Because of our many years of experience in the trade show industry, we know that organizing an exhibition can be a stressful experience and would therefore like to make the logistics as simple as possible for you. This shipping manual has been issued to provide you with the expeditious and effective information relevant for transporting your exhibition materials to this important event in your calendar. Our services include transport of exhibits from your facility to the stand in Frankfurt. At the fairsite we will be present to assist you or your onsite rep with the shipping requirements We look forward to working with you. Afterwards we will transport your exhibits from the stand to the final destination. 3. Pre-advice Should you not acquire the service of our agent in your country then please make sure that Cretschmar MesseCargo receives all relevant shipment details to enable us to handle your exhibits without delay and additional costs. Sea freight: Please send us a pre-advice which includes all relevant shipping information. Apart from this we require all relevant shipping documents per courier prior to arrival. Airfreight: Truck: Please send us Airwaybill-Number, flight number and all other relevant shipping details Please send us the name of the hauler, departure and arrival dates, number of pieces, weights and truck registration number in advance Pre-advise to: Heinz.Latham@cretschmar.de Kirill.Hermes@cretschmar.de Fax +49-211-7401 1635 4. Packaging Please choose packaging material for your exhibits that is adequate for transporting. Also bear in mind that the packaging might be necessary for the return freight. Straße der Nationen Tor West D-60327 Frankfurt Contact-Person Mobile number (if possible) Please issue three invoices and packing lists on your company letterhead including the following information: - invoice number and date - full description of all items with individual quantities - harmonized standard code of each customs item - name of exhibition, location, hall & stand no. - gross / net weight in kilos, sizes in centimetres of each case - unit & total values of each case - delivery terms: c+f Frankfurt - exhibitor s name and address with contacts & VAT number Please prepare your documents in English language and ensure separate documents are produced for items under temporary and permanent importation. Please also note that there are strict restrictions for consumable items such as foodstuffs and alcohol to be imported to Germany. These items will be subject to special procedures and documentation. 7. Insurance certificate (1 Original & 1 Copy) It is recommended that exhibitors provide insurance coverage for their goods from point of departure through to final destination, including transit period and while onsite (build-up, duration and dismantling period) and also against third parties. The organizer and CRETSCHMAR MESSECARGO are not liable for partial or total loss or damage. All services provided through CRETSCHMAR MESSECARGO are fulfilled in your name and liability. Transport insurance can be requested from CRETSCHMAR MESSECARGO and will be covered upon receipt of written request. 8. Further conditions We act only as forwarding company and not as Land, Sea or Air carrier. Please note that all activities of the company in the course of business, are undertaken subject to the "German forwarders standard terms and conditions (ADSp), latest edition. The liability for loss or damage of exhibits that were shipped via CRETSCHMAR MESSECARGO in the name of the customer is limited to the responsibility of the carriers involved (as per their tariffs and conditions). 9. Terms of payment Termination of our invoice within 10 days of issuing date counts as agreed unless other agreements have been confirmed. All inbound handling charges have to be paid before arrival of your goods resp. before delivery of the exhibits to your stand. Outbound handling charges and return freight charges must be paid before the return of the shipment to the country of origin or its new destination. This is only applicable for exhibition goods, which arrive by forwarders not known to us and/or with whom we do not have agreed terms of payment, and also for exhibitors with whom we have not agreed any terms of payment, who send their goods by their own method of transport. Credit cards are accepted (American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Diners club). It is not necessary in case of our agent offices all over the world, as we have specific agreements in respect of terms of payment. Seite 10 von 10
