PERFORMANCE AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT ACTION PLAN & REVIEW FOR ACADEMIC STAFF ON PROBATION This template is designed to support you through the process of planning for your initial Performance and Career Development conversation with your academic line manager as part of the probationary process. It allows for capture of the outcomes of the initial conversations and ongoing meetings. Over the three years it is expected that you will meet with your academic line manager every 6 months to review progress, with formal reviews every 12 months. To guide your planning you should refer to your position description and your letter of offer which contains individual probation requirements as well as the core generic requirements that are prerequisites for confirmation to continuing academic roles. You will need to complete relevant sections as appropriate for your role and career stage.
