We provide a full range of core district general hospital services to a population of 275,000 patients, as well as a range of national and regional specialist services. The Trust will treat 26,000 patients for elective and day case episodes, 19,000 patients admitted non-electively, 42,000 accident and emergency attendances, and 158,000 patients as outpatients. The Purchasing Department is the first point of contact for suppliers and is responsible for identifying and contracting with companies that provide consistently high quality products and services to the Trust.
