Te Technical Data Sheet BALLASTMAN Ballast Water Exchange Management CRANE OPERATION New developed RESIDUAL STRENGTH for calculation of residual strength of the damaged ship MOORING to plan mooring GROUNDING for calculation of the effect of grounding TROP for trim optimisation Description of the modules MACS3.net Basic Program inclusive squat calculation Stability and strength calculations, covering all pertinent international regulations. For all types of vessels: container, tanker, bulk carrier, general cargo, RoRo, passenger. Approved by all leading classification societies. BALLASTMAN Ballast Water Exchange Management Manages the ballast water exchange in accordance with IMO Res. A.868 (20). Creates the Ballast Water Reporting Form. LOADMAN for Bulk Carriers Helps to create safe loading and unloading sequences. The ship s stability and strength during the whole process, including ballast operations, are shown in a time frame. Creates a loading/unloading plan as required by IMO Resolution A.862 (20). MIXCARGO inclusive movable hatch cover / bulkheads Manages all kinds of cargo: containers, trailers, single parts and homogeneous surface cargo. Allows polygon-shaped cargo areas. Loading is done interactively. Items can easily be rearranged with the mouse. INEXMAN Automatic Stability Test System Determines the current stability of a vessel according to GL and See-BG. The result is the current GM value.
Technical Data Sheet STOWAGE PLANNING Provides the import and export of ASCII-or XLS files, e.g. import from the booking computer or database. It also allows manual planning by dragging one or multiple containers from pier to a stowage plan. Crane Operation Simulates the handling of on-board cranes. Helps to plan the loading/unloading of containers and heavy items, and then to safely execute the operation. DASTYMAN Damage Stability Calculation Calculates damage stability based on the hull form and inner structure of the ship. Approved by GL and DNV. BELCO Container Management Enhances the MACS3 loading computer with fast and easy container management features. Containers can be coloured according to a variety of criteria, e.g. by port of discharge. The longitudinal section shows containers, tanks and visibility lines. A special check points out all critical conditions at one glance. You can even see a 3D visualization of your ship with all its cargo. Lashing Program SEALASH Lashes containers properly. Forces are calculated according to GL, DNV, BV, ABS and LR. Generates various reports, e.g. inventory list; lash forces by bay, stack and tier. TANK ONLINE transfers tank volumes or levels into MACS3. It is avail-able for all major onboard measurement systems, connecting to over 25 different makers. DAGO for Dangerous Goods DAGO I checks if the stowage and segregation requirements of the latest IMDG Code match. Includes the IMDG database with all the relevant information from the Code and the Emergency Schedules (EmS).
Te Technical Data Sheet DAGO II adds fire-fighting and safety plans. All the safety equipment is shown in deck plans, pictured by standardized symbols. The plans can be enlarged to greater detail. In case of emergency, a report is created. All procedures and actions required by the regulations are shown, and the safety equipment to be used is highlighted visually. DAGO III contains the complete Medical First Aid Guide (MFAG) Code, including the medical advice, the diagnoses and all the tables. All MFAG references are directly linked to DAGO I. MOORING plans mooring on customizable pier including vessels fairleads, winches and mooring line types. GROUNDING / UNGROUNDING STRENGTH module calculates the effect of grounding, considering three different situations: rock, two rocks or sandbank. TROP optimizes trim of current loading condition with respect to main engine power. Integrated module considering calculations of stability, strength and all further restrictions.
