Remember the back of the card. Designs can be seen through both sides, so get creative. Typography, solids, patterns, illustrations and photographs all reproduce well. If it works for a four-color print job, it will work on a clear card. Revitalize opaque colors and whites by partnering them with translucent elements. Cards can accept a wide range of translucent and opaque inks. Laying down a solid color behind a designated area creates an opaque effect. White is a printable solid color. Two coatings will improve the appearance and effect. For a dramatic opaque effect, the solid color should be a pixel smaller than the overlaid image. The magnetic stripe will show through the front of the card, so you can integrate it into the design.
