General Hard Floors Stripping It is vital to strip your floor thoroughly before protecting it with floor finish to ensure that you obtain the desired results. To achieve this 3M provides a complete range of products designed to strip floors faster and more effectively. Scotch-Brite black high productivity pad Originates from a technology developed by 3M. The high productivity black pad has a very open construction that aggressively removes excessive build-up and very hard and ultra high speed burnished floor finish, quickly and effectively. Scotch-Brite brown pad A pad specially designed for dry stripping with a more open construction providing a longer working time before it needs to be cleaned. General Hard Floors Scrubbing You should remove black marks and dirt before raising the shine or just to keep your unprotected floor in good shape. Scotch-Brite pads for scrubbing are designed for effective and consistent routine maintenance of protected and unprotected floors. Scotch-Brite green pad The industry standard way of scrubbing a heavily soiled floor. Scotch-Brite blue pad A more open and resilient pad construction to reduce clogging which extends the time before rinsing. Ideal for heavy duty cleaning as it also removes marks efficiently. Scotch-Brite orange & green pad Especially designed for light scrubbing of protected floors. An excellent daily cleaning pad that will remove a minimum of floor finish to extend the time before recoating. 5
General Hard Floors Spray Cleaning Spray cleaning is a frequent maintenance operation which removes heel marks and restores the shine. The pad cleans when damp, buffs when dry. Scotch-Brite spray cleaning pads have a more open and resilient construction to reduce clogging which results in higher productivity. Scotch-Brite blue pad Rapid removal of marks on unprotected floors leaving a medium shine. Scotch-Brite red pad The most efficient pad to remove marks and buff to a high gloss on protected floors. Each Scotch-Brite floor pad has been developed for a specific need to ensure you get a high quality result with the minimum of effort. Scotch-Brite tan pad Traditional pad for softer floor finishes at standard speeds. Scotch-Brite white pad The ideal pad for metallized floor finishes at standard and higher speeds, to give a rich, deep shine. 7
General Hard Floors Ultra-High Speed Polishing and Mark Removal 3M has added a new pad to its UHS line. Next to the white and orange pad used for traditional polishing, the eraser burnishing pad removes black marks efficiently and leaves a great shine. Eraser Burnishing Pad Black mark removal can be aggressive for the floor finish and requires high cleaning time. Thanks to the new Eraser Burnishing pad, you can now remove black heel marks better and faster than any burnishing pad on the market for hardfloors. At the same time, it restores high-gloss shine quickly This is an ideal pad for well maintained floors. Scotch-Brite White and orange Special fibre blend burnishes in a single pass at ultra high speeds. Marble Floors Crystallisation 3M has developed a unique marble care system that does not require specialist skills. It makes crystallisation much simpler, and saves you time and money too. It results in a tough durable shine and great slip resistance that you can really feel underfoot. Unlike steel wool, the Scotch-Brite pad technology ensures no rusting or staining on the floor. There is also no chance of cutting your hands when handling the pads. 3M Diamond line discs A range of 5 grades of flexible diamond abrasive discs and a drive pad for preparing marble and marble composite floors prior to crystallisation. 3M sanding screens can also be used for marble preparation. Scotch-Brite bronze pad The bronze pad creates a tough long-lasting medium shine during the crystallisation process. Scotch-Brite silver pad The silver pad creates a high shine when used after the bronze pad. It is also ideal for routine maintenance. 3M Crystallisation chemical Designed to be used with the Scotch-Brite crystallisation pads. It contains no waxes and is easy to apply. 9
Textured and delicate floors Cleaning This new 3M Brush n Mop pad provides excellent cleaning results on textured floors like anti-slip bathroom or kitchen floors, like porous ceramic floors or uneven floors. Its very fine fibres work like micro-brushes and are free of any abrasive particles. This also allows gentle cleaning of delicate special floors like indoor sporting floors. The backing of the pad is designed to obtain an excellent anchorage on the machine pad holder. Each pad has a centre hole, thus usable with all types of machines. Textile Floors Carpet Care 3M has developed a complete system for carpet care called cycle 4. Wood Floors Refurbishment 3M sanding screens are used to prepare wood floors prior to varnishing or other protection. 3M sanding screens can be used under standard rotary floor machines without needing a highly skilled operator. The open mesh construction of the discs means they resist clogging and last longer. 13
3M Edge Cleaning System Manual cleaning The 3M Doodlebug cleaning system allows you to clean areas that are difficult to get to with rotary floor machines, such as edges, stairs, walls, areas under furniture. The holder is very resistant to strong pressure and it can be used with aggressive chemicals. The pads perform as well as the wellknown, high-quality Scotch-Brite Machine pads. Special pads are available for special operations.
