Five years relevant working experience in Financial Management field of which one year must be on a supervisory level. Knowledge of Pastel or other relevant Accounting systems and IFRS, SA GAAP or GRAP. Must be computer literate and have a valid driver s license. Review accounting activities develop and maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to prescripts and legislation. Prepare an accurate monthly and yearly management reports. Prepare and update quarterly and yearly budgets and forecasts. Ensure that asset register and inventory records are maintained and up-to-date. Ensure effective debtor management. Ensure that all income is collected from various stakeholders. Manage and supervise a staff in the Unit. Assist in preparation of audit and handle audit queries. Conduct performance appraisals with Unit staff and arrange and monitor individual development.
