Product Description: The ProCleanse process is a patent pending technology combining granular media filtration and biocidal ion exchange into a single fresh water filtration/ disinfection device. Current use in over 24 countries worldwide - Schools - Villages - Hospitals - Orphanages - Military / Police - Emergency 2

Current Drinking Water Situation According to the World Health Organization, nearly 900 million people lack access to clean drinking water Untreated water containing harmful microorganisms is a primary cause of diarrhea, disease and death, particularly in young children. Boiling water requires prior gathering of fuel materials, and in closed areas can be dangerous Chemical treatments are risky to handle, and improper addition can cause serious health effects Bottled or bulk water can be impure and expensive. Empty bottles create rubbish 3

Unique Technology Disinfects water - patent-pending technology to first combine proven technologies of granular media filtration and biocidal ion exchange into a single device Stores clean water integrated, built-in safe water storage (~ 18 liters / 5 US gal) Simple to use and reliable no assembly, no moving or detachable parts Sustainable - A single ProCleanse unit will filter, purify and store clean water for 6-8 people every day for over 10 years (~ 180,000 liters / 48,000 gal), and with minimal maintenance Economic Benefits the ProCleanse filter can be used to generate clean drinking and cooking water for sale to others, creating job opportunities and family income. 4

Product Advantages Light weight, transportable (< 18 kg / 40 lb dry) No assembly or tools required Produces safe drinking water on day one Clean water output of 10-15 liters (2.5 to 4 US gal) per hour Works from gravity - no power or equipment required Sustainable - no replacement parts or supply chain requirements Minimum of 10 years of use, with simple maintenance program Meets key World Health Organization (WHO) targets 5

Dirty Water In How It Works Chamber 1: Porous ceramic particles and biocide materials beneath lid entrap suspended sediment and deactivate harmful micro-organisms Chamber 2: Safe Water Storage (~ 18 liters / 5 US gal) and residual disinfection Clean Water Out 6

How It Works (2) Dirty Water IN 24" (61 cm) Granular Ceramic + Biocidal Ion Exchange particle layers Pure Drinking and Cooking Water Storage (18 litres / 4.7 gal) 14.4 " (37 cm) diameter Durable, food grade hard plastic Flexible Discharge Tube - in 'storage' and 'in-use' positions Clean Water OUT 15-Jun-16 7

The ProCleanse Process 8

Field Testing University of North Carolina Chapel Hill A local contaminated creek in North Carolina was selected as the input source water to accurately represent contaminated field water conditions This water was supplemented by raw sewage when creek counts were consistently low Approximately 18 liters of water per day was poured into and taken out of the device in three 6 liter batches 9

Field Testing - University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (2) The effluent evaluated was taken from water that had been processed at the end of each day, after the third 6 liter batch, representing the worst case dilution for daily use of the ProCleanse device Influent and effluent parameters were quantified by an independent laboratory E. Coli via Multiple Tube Fermentation (SM 9221F) Fecal Coliform via Membrane Filtration (SM 9222D) Typical data for a unit is presented on the next slide 10

Field Testing - Ghana In 2014, tests were successfully completed in Northern Ghana with World Vision, IR International Water and Sanitation Center, Savelugu Nanton Municipal Assembly, etc. WHO standards met for E. Coli, microspheres and bacteriophages Received ethical approval from Institutional Review Board at Navrongo Health Research Centre 12

As highlighted in the above table, when the unit was 100 percent seeded or fully loaded with MS- 2, the results met the WHO standard. Similarly with input water of 100 percent seeded high counts of spores during the first two days of testing, the unit achieved a 3 log reduction of cryptosporidium. 13

Approvals / Test Protocols Completed Device meets World Health Organization (WHO) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) drinking water limits of zero E. Coli and Fecal Coliform Device meets WHO Highly Protective Category for bacteria and protozoa, and Protective category for viruses Ghana field test approvals obtained, WHO standards met for E. Coli, microspheres and bacteriophages 15

Residual Disinfection The ProCleanse ion exchange process continues to work in the clean water storage chamber (18 liters capacity) These ions continue to provide disinfection in the stored water No chlorine residual disinfection required 16
