Dated: 1 st August, 2013 The National Culture Fund is a Public Charitable Trust (Notified by Govt. of India vide notification No. S.O. 832 (E) dated November 28, 1996) established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Culture as a mechanism to mobilize funds to preserve and promote Indian Art, Culture and Heritage (www.ncf.nic.in). 2. The National Culture Fund (NCF) invites applications, in the proforma given in Annexure II, for the posts stated in Annexure - I below on the Terms and Conditions given below: TERMS AND CONDITIONS: i. Tenure: All appointments would be purely on contract basis initially for a period of two years from the date of initial appointment. The contract of appointment will be extendable by the period of one more year depending upon satisfactory performance and consent of both the parties. ii. Selection Process: The procedure for selection shall be based on personal interaction with the candidates shortlisted after scrutiny of their applications by a Search-cum-Selection Committee. iii. Reappointment/termination: The services of the person so selected and appointed would be liable to be terminated before the expiry of the term of his/her contract with prior notice if the conduct and performance of the employee is not found satisfactory. Similarly, a person with proven performance record shall be eligible for extension of the contract / reappointment for a future term. iv. Annexure-I NCF invites applications for the following posts: (i) One SENIOR MANAGER Field Initiatives Pay: Rs.50,000/- p.m. consolidated. No extra payment on account of D.A. HRA, Transport Qualification: MA/Ph.D. in Museum Studies/Conservation of Art and Heritage/Heritage Management/or related fields of Culture and Art. Desirable: Good communication and public speaking skills, knowledge and understanding of the current scenario in the Cultural sector in India. Excellent ability for conceiving and planning and projects and their successful execution. Excellent computer skills and using software such as MS Office. Experience: At least 10 years experience in industry, arts and heritage, project management in related fields of Culture, fund raising and reporting. Candidates should have a good idea of the activities pertaining to latest trends in various fields related to tangible and intangible heritage. Scope of Work: Develop strategies to motivate donors for soliciting funding for NCF tangible projects. Organising high level donor/technical expert meetings/road shows etc. for popularizing NCF initiatives, conception and development of NCF for tangible heritage conservation and for their successful execution. Communicate with professionals for development and implementation of projects and manage a large number of projects simultaneously. Launching the Field Initiative at the field site and monitoring the progress of the project involving site inspection, managing working relationship with team members, preparation of papers/files for releasing funds as per project plan and maintaining the project account. Age: 30-50 years (ii) ONE SENIOR MANAGER OF MARKETING AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Pay: Rs.50,000/- p.m. consolidated. No extra payment on account of D.A. HRA, Transport Essential Qualifications: MA in any social science/mba in Marketing/Sales with excellent Communication skills and command in English. Desirable: Capacity to envision, enable and facilitate Public Private Partnerships for arts and culture. Should have knowledge of Indian art and cultural scene. Should be able to
communicate in Hindi and English, good team player, inspiring, energetic, dynamic, problem solver, excellent people person and networker. Experience: At least 10 years experience in industry, sales and marketing, public relations management with exposure to fund raising and fund management, business development and experience in the areas of management of project work, public engagement, organizational development, corresponding with corporate for fund raising etc. Should have demonstrated ability to lead teams, cover wide geographies, and deliver significant results. Experience in Marketing/Culture Management. Scope of Work: Develop NCF Action Plans for Fund Management, Lead and motivate the team in developing Annual Fund Management strategies and budgets. Develop strategies to motivate donors to NCF initiative. This involves building new relationship and nurturing old ones, apply due diligence on each relationship to establish its credentials to know its potential and cost effectiveness, maintaining continuous contact with the members of the network and keeping them informed about NCF activities and future opportunities for collaborative work. Providing an open communication channel for all members of the network to access the NCF for the activities of NCF and concerns related to donors/ members and for resolving any issues between the NCF and any member of network. Age: 30-50 years (iii) ONE PROJECT COORDINATOR Pay: Rs.45,000/- p.m. consolidated. No extra payment on account of D.A. HRA, Transport Essential Qualification: MA/Ph.D. in Museum Studies/Conservation of Art and Heritage/MA in Architectural Conservation/Heritage Management/or related fields of Culture and Art/MBA. Desirable: Good communication and public speaking skills, knowledge and understanding of the current scenario in the Cultural sector in India, planning and project management, and excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office software, willingness to work and deliver on strict deadlines and manage large number of projects simultaneously. Experience: At least 6 8 years experience in conservation, arts, project management in related fields of Culture, fund raising and reporting. Candidates should have a good idea of the activities pertaining to latest trends in various fields related to tangible and intangible heritage. Should have at least 5 years of experience of working in a Museum/Gallery or a recognised cultural organisation. Scope of Work: Coordinate and communicate with professionals, experts and local communities/authorities for development and implementation of projects. Plan, evaluate and
manage a large number of projects simultaneously. All this involves site inspection visits managing working relationship with team members, preparation of papers/files for releasing funds as per project plan, sorting out issues and difficulties and ensuring timely completion of projects. Age: 30-50 years (iv) ONE MANAGER - MARKETING AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Pay: Rs.35,000/- p.m. consolidated. No extra payment on account of D.A. HRA, Transport Essential Qualifications: Graduation. Desirable: MA in any social science/mba, knowledge of Indian art and cultural scene. Good communicator and public relations, good team player, experienced networker for fund raising initiative. Well acquainted with PPP and CSR guidelines. Experience: At least 5 8 years experience in industry, sales and marketing, experience in the areas of management of projects, corresponding with corporate for fund raising etc. Has demonstrated ability to network with organizations, and build relationships with donors and funders. Experience in Marketing/Culture Management Scope of Work: Develop Fund Management programme and plan for NCF, develop relationships with Donors and Partners and meet strategic goals, develop projects plans for fund raising. Develop strategies to motivate donors to make donations to NCF initiatives. Organising high level donor/expert meetings/road shows, and facilitate publications. Age: 30-50 years (v) ONE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS AND ADMINSTRATION OFFICER Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month consolidated. No extra payment on account of D.A. HRA, Transport Essential Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline, with Intermediate CA/ICWA/Company Secretary or SAS/Jr. Accounts Officer s Examination of any of the organised Accounts Service with knowledge of MS word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Tally or any other accounting software. Knowledge of maintaining account books/records, filing of TDS and prepare account papers for audit etc. Experience: At least 5 10 years experience in accounting work in a reputed government or private organizations.
Scope of Work: Assisting Manager (Admn. &Finance) in managing accounts of NCF and other related administrative matters. Maintaining office and project funds and finances, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statement of accounts and budget, liaison with banks in banking work, and maintaining project accounts. Age: 30-50 years (vi) THREE OFFICE ASSISTANTS Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,000/- p.m. No extra payment on account of D.A.
