Specialised technology Controlled Atmosphere (CA) CA is designed to maintain oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, slowing down the ripening rate of the fruit. Cold Treatment (CT) sterilisation This is applied during the shipping process. Probes are used to record, monitor and maintain pulp temperatures 24/7 throughout transit. Fresh air ventilation Ventilation is necessary in order to remove the heat, carbon dioxide and gases produced by the cargo. Humidity control (HMC) Our containers are equipped with systems that can both increase or decrease the relative humidity level between the range of 65% to 95%. Brand new reefer equipment 30,000 new reefer containers were added to the fleet in 2015. The new containers were delivered from China and Chile, and are equipped with all the latest in reefer innovation. Needless to say, we take our commitment to cargo care very seriously.
