The Company Peerless Europe Limited has been established since 1992 and serves Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Former Soviet Union. We are still broadening our horizons. We design and supply a wide range of gas and liquid filtration/ separation equipment and pulsation control equipment to the oil, gas, petrochemical and power industries. Pressure vessel manufacture is sub-contracted to a variety of specialist manufacturers worldwide. Working to BS EN ISO 9001 certification, we can supply equipment to all recognised pressure vessel construction codes and, when required, in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive. Chevron Vane-type Separators High efficiency separation of entrained liquid from vapours. Vertical and Horizontal Gas Separation Applications for Chevron Vane-type separators will exist at: inlet to gas production facilities gas gathering stations gas processing facilities compressor protection wherever high efficiency liquid separation is needed. Incorporate a Chevron Vane Mist Extractor together with primary liquid knock-down baffles and additional storage volume for use in applications where high liquid rates or liquid slugging is likely. Vertical Line separators are compact vane separators for use with low to moderate liquid rates. The inlet and outlet connections are usually in-line to simplify pipework layout. Vane-type separators will remove 100% of all liquid droplets 8 microns and larger with the outlet gas containing no more than 0.1 usg/million standard cubic feet of gas passing through the separator. Separation Centrifugal Separators High efficiency separation of entrained liquids and solids from vapours. Absolute Separators Two-stage units capable of removing 99.99% of all liquid droplets 0.3 microns and above. Mass carryover down to 1 ppb. Removal of: lubricating oil from the discharge of compressors oil mist upstream of desiccant beds in ammonia and urea plants mist or sub-micron droplets, i.e. chlorine, carbon dioxide from process streams. Multi-Cyclone Scrubbers Comprising a quantity of small diameter cyclones assembled inside the scrubber vessel for the removal of 100% of all liquid and solid particles 8 microns and larger. Used in gas transmission installations and for the protection of gas compressors and turbines. Centrifugal Recycling Separator (Swirl Tube) Comprising a quantity of small diameter recycling cyclones assembled inside the scrubber vessel for the removal of 100% of liquid particles 6 microns and larger. Wide turndown range. Used in gas transmission installations and for the protection of gas compressors and turbines.
Filter Separators Filtration Two-stage units capable of removing 100% of liquid droplets 8 microns and above, 99% of those 0.5-8 microns, 100% removal of solid particles 3 microns and larger and 99% of those 0.5-3 microns. For the protection of: gas turbines gas engines gas meters. For removal of mist and solids from natural gas at pressure reduction and regulator stations. Gas Filters Horizontal and vertical. Removes 100% of all solid particles 3 microns and larger and 99% of those 0.5-3 microns. Contains a quantity of replaceable filter cartridges. Removes from vapour: dust millscale rust other foreign solid particles. Pulsation Dampeners and Combination Dampeners/ Separators Eliminates acoustically induced vibrations in reciprocating compressor installations. Combination unit comprises Peerless Pulsation Dampener incorporating Multi-Cyclone Separation Unit: eliminates condensed liquids and lubricating oils eliminates entrained solids.
Filtration Liquid Filtration Three main types: Cartridge filter system for high efficiency removal of solids from: hydrocarbons water chemicals other liquids. Two-stage cartridge filter / separators for: water separation removal of fine solids from hydrocarbons and natural gas condensate. Activated carbon adsorbers for removal of: hydrocarbons degradation products well inhibitors from closed loop amine and glycol systems. SCR Reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) in exhaust gas from Gas Turbines, Diesel Engines HSRG s and Utility Boilers First Peerless SCR installed in 1998 SCR experience from 400 HP Boilers to >500 MW Coal Utility Boilers. Fuel Gas Conditioning Systems Peerless has manufactured hundreds of custom fuel and gas conditioning systems supplying clean, regulated gas for gas turbines and boilers throughout the world. Each system, from the simplest scrubber to the most complex skid package is engineered specifically to meet the individual needs of our customer.
Services Services Our Dallas Research and Development Centre offers a range of support services. In 1980 Peerless introduced the first Laser Spectrometer for separation research, then in 1988 it introduced Computational Fluid Dynamics to further accelerate product development. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) CFD can model high-pressure two-phase flows that occur in gas processing applications. Particle tracking allows the engineer to track either solid particles or liquid droplets whether evaporating or reacting. The liquid phase can be coupled with the gas phase to determine the effects on mass exchange and pressure drop. CFD is an essential tool when considering critical separation processes, troubleshooting and retrofit applications. Laser Isokinetic Sampling Probe (LISP) The Laser Isokinetic Sampling Probe was developed, custom designed and built to Peerless specifications, to collect and weigh entrained liquids and solids both up and downstream of separators or filters at very high system operating pressure, in order to measure mass separation efficiency and droplet/particle efficiency of removal. The results of these measurements can be used to determine the optimum separation/filtration technology for the application.
