Meet Your Speakers Brian O Doherty, Senior Proposal Manager, Siemens Brian is the Senior Proposal Manager for Siemens Wind in Ireland. He manages the bidding activities and technical negotiations for the renewable energy business and also has responsibility for new business development. Prior to joining Siemens in 2011, he worked for Mainstream and Airtricity as a project manager and business developer. He has over 13 years of experience in the wind industry and has worked on offshore, onshore, solar and marine projects across the globe and at all stages of development. Brian is interested in talking to anyone who is developing a wind farm in Ireland. Declan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has 10 years experience in the energy market through employment with Doosan, Senvion and GE. His current role is leading the new sales activities for the Irish market and developing product strategies to further increase the GE market share in Ireland. GE currently has 390MW of installed turbines in Ireland with aspirations to substantially grow this further. Jan Hagen, Chief Product Manager, Vestas Jan Hagen is the Chief Product Manager for the 3MW platform. He is responsible for product strategy and Go-to-Market planning for 3MW platform turbines, as well as tower and option products. Jan joined Vestas in summer 2015, having worked in the wind industry since 2008. Before joining Vestas Jan was Vice President, Head of Product Management at Nordex. David McMullin and Wilke Janssen, ENERCON David McMullin has worked in the wind industry since 2008, in Ireland, the UK and Germany, in the areas of Grid Integration and Project Management. Since 2012 he has been ENERCON s Grid Integration Engineer for Ireland / NI, with a focus on delivering ENERCON's first DS3-compliant wind farms and developing capabilities to meet the upcoming DS3 System Services framework. Wilke will talk about the latest product developments and ENERCON Services. Topics from David will include Grid Integration and System Services. Wilke Janssen studied Industrial Engineering with an Energy and Environmental Technology background. Andreas Beyer, Product Management, Nordex Andreas Beyer is heading the Product Management Department at Nordex Acciona Windpower. Key responsibilities include the inbound and outbound product management activities and product ownership of the 2.xMW and 3.xMW turbine platforms as well as the after sales- wind farm and SCADA product portfolio. Andreas has been with Nordex since 2010 when he joined the company as senior product manager and being part of building up the newly created Product Line Management division.
