What Our People Say Samantha Davidson Sustainability Coordinator, MMUK Sebastian Koziol Production Section Leader, MM Flowers In 2014 I graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Environment & Sustainability. MMUK gave me my first graduate role in the Sustainability Team in May 2015. MMUK has really given me opportunities to get involved. As part of the Sustainability Team we ensure that our growers have completed the correct due diligence and our products are ethically sourced. I love working directly with our growers all around the world. Learning about the challenges that growers face and being in a position to help them overcome these issues is hugely rewarding. I joined MM Flowers in August 2016 as Team Leader working within the operations function looking after straight lines. From my first week I received a structured training and development program. I have received training in policies and procedures, standard operating procedures and skills to support delivering training. I am now working towards a Level 3 Section Leader. I have felt supported by my Manager and I have been provided with an understanding of the training journey. Peter Benson Senior Commercial Manager, AMT Fruit Jessica Hague Commercial Manager, MM Flowers When I joined AMT in 2007, to be honest I did not know what to expect! Now 9 years later, I am still with the company and it has flown by. The fresh produce industry is so fast moving that no two days are ever the same, there are always new, obstacles to manoeuvre and hurdles to jump. The team spirit at AMT is key to our success there is a real dedication to go above and beyond, to do the best job possible for Tesco and growers. The team live and breathe supplying Tesco and it is rewarding and motivating to see hard work being rewarded through increased volumes and an enhanced product portfolio. I joined MM Flowers in 2010 as part of the Operations team and quickly moved into the Commercial team. Since then, I have seen growth in the company and myself, moving from Commercial support, to Sales Executive, then Junior Commercial Manager and to my current role as a Commercial Manager. The company has invested into targeted courses and training to aid with personal and business development. My role is customer facing, presenting new flower ranges to deliver successful launches whilst monitoring sales performance. We are in a very fast paced industry which creates a friendly buzz and means there are always new and exciting challenges. 8
