What is Cryptocurrency? Introduction Using cryptography to ensure the security of a transaction, a cryptocurrency is a digital asset that can be utilized as a medium of exchange. Cryptography also controls the creation of additional units or tokens and verifies every transaction that is made. A cryptocurrency is considered a subset of digital currency, and every cryptocurrency is also classified as a subset of virtual currencies and alternative currencies. Created in 2009, Bitcoin became the first decentralized cyrptocurrnecy in the world and it remains in wide use today. However, many other crytocurrencies have also been created since then, which are called altcoins (Bitcoin alternatives). All derivatives of Bitcoin use the same decentralized control that Bitcoin does, which is unlike centralized banking systems and electronic money systems. This decentralization is related to the transaction database and the disturbed ledger that come along with blockchain technology. The entire cryptocurrency system produces decentralized currency at a rate that is defined at the time of the system s creation. It also important to note that this rate is known publicly. This is unlike centralized banking systems, like the Federal Reserve System, where corporate boards or a central authority (such as government) controls the supply of currency by means of printing units of fiat money. They can also demand additions to digital banking ledgers. If not carefully managed, this can result in a huge increase or decrease in the value of the dollar. Decentralized cryptocurrency, on the other hand, cannot be produced by any company or government. This system was created by the group/individual known as Satoshi Nakamoto. More than a thousand cryptocurrency specifications exist as of September 2017. Out of these specifications, the majority of them are similar to and derived from Bitcoin, since it was the first fully implemented decentralized cyrptocurrency. Within a cryptocurrency system, safety, balance, and integrity of the ledger (the public log of all transactions) is maintained by a community of mutually distrustful parties called miners. These are members of the general public that use their co-

-mputers to timestamp and validate transactions. Validated transactions are then added to the ledger in according with the system s predetermined timestamping scheme. These miners have a financial incentive to maintain security and integrity in the ledger. Most cryptocurrencies have been designed to gradually produce less and less currency, which places an ultimate cap on the total amount of said cryptocurrency to ever be in circulation. In this way, it mimics the ever-increasing rarity (and, presumably: value) of precious metals. Cryptocurrencies that exist today are primarily used on the internet, separate from existing banking and government institutions. While cryptocurrency as a whole is still being developed, it has a unique potential to challenge existing payment systems and currencies. In December 2017, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies was more than $600 Billion USD, and the record high daily volume exceeded $50 Billion USD. These are impressive numbers, to say the least. Inspired by the infrastructure and potential of cryptocurrency, we at Adverx aim to present investors with a stunning opportunity to be part of the advertising revolution. Our efforts will link RTB (Real-Time Bidding) with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in order to serve billions of impressions programmatically, each and every day, between several ad-exchanges. ERC20 Standard A smart contract is designed to facilitate, verify, and/or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. Built upon a computer protocol, a smart contract allows for two or more parties to perform credible transactions, without the need for a third-party to oversee the contract. Smart contracts are trackable and irreversible. The ERC20, or Ethereum token standard, is used for Ethereum smart contracts. It was developed in 2015 and it defines a common list of rules that must be impleme-

-ed by an Ehereum token, thus giving developers the ability to program how new tokens function within the Ethereum ecosystem. What is a Peer-To-Peer Network (P2P)? Peer-to-peer networks, or P2P networks, run in groups of distributed platforms or computers rather than operating on a centralized server model. Each computer within the network acts as a node that can share files within the group. When a P2P network is established over the internet, a central server can be used to index files. A distribution network may also be set up in the place that the group s files are distributed to host a certain file.

Adverx (AVX) Using the Ethereum blockchain and the ERC20 standard, the AVX token was developed to provide fast transactions and high stability. Our team consists of professionals from various different backgrounds, including developers, media buyers, marketing experts, and economists. At Adverx, our primary goal is to provide investors with sustainable returns. To do so, much effort has went into planning the Adverx system and it has been built to handle the expected load with ease. Token Allocation ICO: 3.5 Million Tokens. During our Initial Coin Offering, or ICO, a total of 3,500,000 tokens will be available for purchase. Liquidity Pool Reserve: 2.5 Million Tokens. To help us maintain our promised ROI for our liquidity pool, a total of 2,500,000 tokens will be allocated to our Liquidity Pool reserve. Referral Bounty: 700 Thousand Tokens. A total of 700,000 tokens are allocated to our referral bounty to be used to pay for affiliate commissions, promotional campaigns, etc. Air Drop: 500 Thousand Tokens. A total of 500,000 tokens will be given away to promote our token. This includes sending views to our website, building up social platforms, sharing a post, etc. A platform will be launched later on for this purpose.

Dev Reserve: 300 Thousand Tokens. A total of 300,000 tokens will be preserved for the use of further development into the project.

Real-time bidding (RTB) RTB, or Real-Time Bidding, allows for advertising inventory to be bought and sold on a per-impression basis. RTB uses programmatic, instantaneous auctions similar to those used for stock trading. With RTB, advertising buyers are able to bid on an impression. If the bid is won, the buyer s ad will be instantly displayed on the publisher s site. RTB allows advertisers to manage and optimize ads from multiple ad networks. They do so by granting the user access to different networks and allowing them to create and launch advertising campaigns. Within these campaigns, they can prioritize networks and allocate percentages of unsold inventory, which is known as backfill. RTB can be distinguished from static auctions in that it is sold on a per-impression basis. Static auctions, on the other hand, operate in groups of up to several thousand impressions. For this reason, RTB is promoted as being more effective for both advertisers and publishers when it comes to advertising inventory sold. However, the results vary by local conditions and execution. How RTB works The typical transaction will begin with a user visiting a website. This will trigger a bid request, which can include various pieces of data, such as: the user s demographic information, location, browsing history, and the page being loaded. This request will go from the publisher to the ad exchange where it is submitted to multiple advertisers. Bids will automatically be submitted in real-time to place their ads. Following this exact process, advertisers will bid on each ad impression as it is served. Ultimately, the highest bidder will have their ad displayed to said user. This process will repeat for every ad slot on the page until all ad slots are populated. All of this happens within about 100 milliseconds from the time the ad exchange receives the request. Advertisers are able to set a maximum bid and an overall budget for each campaign. They can also set criteria about which slots they want to bid on based on the information that accompanies a request (such as the website visitor s location). This can get very complex. Probabilistic models are used to determine the probability of a click or conversion given a set of user data, and advertisers use this probability to determine how much they are willing to spend on

each respective impression. Demand-side Platforms DSPs, or Demand-Side Platforms, allow buyers direct RTB access to multiple inventory sources. Typically, they streamline ad operations with the use of applications that simplify reporting and the workflow as a whole. DSPs are directed towards advertisers, and the technology used to power an exchange can also be used as the foundation of a DSP. This allows for synergy between advertising campaigns. The primary distinction made between a DSP and an ad network is that a DSP has the technology to determine the value of an individual impression in less than 100 milliseconds ( real time ) based on a user s given history.

Supply-side Platforms SSPs, or Supply-Side Platforms, are often used by large publishers to manage multiple advertising networks. SSPs allow them to manage their advertising yield since SSPs utilize data generated from impression-level bidding to tailor advertising campaigns. SSPs also include a bundle of applications used to manage ad operations and the foundational technology is adapted from ad exchange technology, like with a DSP. Normal RTB vs Adverx Our aim is for the AVX token to be a widely used cryptocurrency within the digital advertising industry. Our RTB platforms uses AVX as a currency for buying and selling impressions between partner exchanges. In order to build a strong launch platform, we ll execute instant buy/sell trades in cryptocurrency exchanges for our token. Our RTB platform will be able to accept AVX as a currency, and we will encourage partner ad exchanges to do the same. Any partner exchanges that do not agree with this will be using AVX tokens as their currency virtually. This concept is explained below. As an example, let s say that DSP A is sending 100,000 QPS (Queries-Per- Second) to the RTB platform. Out of these queries, it is able to successfully bid on 10,000 impressions per second from SSP partners. This DSP is required to pay $10 to our SSP partners (assuming that the bid CPM is $1). In order for this to happen, we will make an instant buy order for $10 in AVX tokens on the DSP s behalf. We will then make an instant sell order for these tokens on the SSP s behalf. In doing so, we will increase our tokens market cap and the 24-hour trade volume, both of which are essential for any type of currency. This mechanism will only be applied to partners who do not agree to use AVX tokens as their currency for all transactions. Additionally, for investors, our liquidity pool will provide a volatile interest based on the different plans (described below) from our liquidity pool reserve. After the reserve has been depleted, 50% of the profit from the RTB platform will be paid as

paid as interest to all Liquidity pool participants. The described interest rates will then be altered accordingly.

Initial Coin Offering (ICO) The ICO period, or Initial Coin Offering, is a means of crowdfunding that centers around cryptocurrency. It can be a source of capital for startups and, in ICO, some quantity of the cryptocurrency being funded will be preallocated to investors in the form of tokens. This will happen in exchange for other cryptocurrencies or legal tender. These tokens will become functional units of currency when the ICO s funding goal is met. Timing Our ICO will consist of up to 9 rounds in all. We will continue from one round to the next until all tokens have sold. There will be a 24-hour period between each round. Until further notice, Round 1 is scheduled to start on January 10th 2018, 5:00 PM UTC.

Liquidity Pool Introduction AVX will offer people the opportunity to earn daily returns by locking their tokens in the Liquidity Pool. Depending on which plan they choose, the user will be offered a daily interest rate on the number of tokens they lock in. After the lock-in period has ended, the user will receive capital back. A user can also earn up to a 0.15% bonus on their interest. As an example, if a token is valued at $10 and a user locks in 30 AVX tokens, their capital is worth $300 ($10 x 30). The lock-in period would be 90 days, with a daily interest rate of 1%. Therefore, the user will be paid $3 worth of tokens each day for the next 90 days. After that, the user will be able to withdraw the 30 AVX tokens they started with. Our Liquidity Plans There are three lending plans to choose from: Basic, Enhanced, and Premium. Each plan offers a different interest rate, lock-in period, and bonus.

Basic Plan: Suitable for the newcomers. Offers no bonus. Enhanced Plan: Offers 1.1% daily interest, shorter lock-in period, and 0.1% bonus.

Premium Plan: Offers highest daily interest, and the lowest lock-in period. RTB Revenue Share After the liquidity pool reserve has been depleted, 50% of the profits from the RTB platform will be paid out as interest to all liquidity pool participants in order to maintain stability.

Affiliate Bonus Adverx has a tiered bonus structure that consists of four levels. Each affiliate will earn a bonus from their referrals and their referrals referrals, up to four levels deep. Each level represents how close the referral is to you. Commissions will be paid as shown below on both tokens bought in the ICO and the liquidity pool interest.
