Version 8.08.08: Improvements Version 8.08.08: Improvements October 21, 2015 Previously Mobile Timesheets would not save timesheet entries when the timesheet week included the date when Daylight Savings time changed. This has been corrected. When grouping and sorting on a widget with more than 500 rows you may have encountered an error when clicking the Next Page arrow. This has been corrected. Grouping a date column or editing grouping options on a date column may have resulted in an error. This has been corrected. When attempting to create or edit a purchase order using the Purchase Order Task widget, you may have encountered the error "Cannot create Purchase Order: Widget key is missing or invalid." Version 8.08.07: Improvements Version 8.08.07: Improvements September 30, 2015 State Tax Change Arkansas (ARSWH) Connecticut (CTSWH) Idaho (IDSWH) Ohio (OHSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2015 In Setup > Employees > Payroll Taxes tab replaced the filing status Single, Married, and Head of Household with tax table. Also removed the Low Income checkbox. Per the Arkansas state auditor, there is no longer a withholding low income tax table as of 2015. Effective date: 8/1/2015 The withholding tables and brackets have changed. Effective date: 1/1/2015 Annual withholding allowance increased to $4,000 from $3,950. The supplemental withholding rate is unchanged. Employers are not required to retroactively adjust withholding for the months before the withholding tables were released. Effective date: 8/1/2015 Additional Amounts and Percentages have changed Report improvements In certain situations the Payroll Check Activity report may have included the employee's check multiple times. This has been corrected. The Project Profit, Project Earnings, and Client Invoice Aging reports now open up blank to allow you to customize options before running the reports. When using multi-company and running a Client Statement with no filters applied and Show Logo was checked, the logo did not show. This has been corrected. Widget improvements Previously, if a project or employee name had an apostrophe, when a group collapse was applied on the Project Description and the Project or Employee name was selected, the widget would give an error. This has been corrected. Previously on the Security tab provided with the default Ajera template, none of the columns displayed data. This has been corrected. 2 Deltek Ajera 8 2015 Deltek Inc. Version 8.08.06: Improvement Version 8.08.06: Improvement September 18, 2015 After upgrading to 8.08.05, in some cases in the Client Invoice list when clicking on Change View, checking the Final or Write-Off Invoice status box may have given you the following error: "Cannot insert Null value." Version 8.08.05: Improvements Version 8.08.05: Improvements August 26, 2015 Project Command Center improvements In the Project Command Center, the Invoices tab was missing when the project billing type was Marketing. This has been corrected. In the Project Command Center, after clicking on an invoice group, it would freeze and you would not be able to select a phase. This has been corrected. Previously in the Project Command Center, the phase and project totals incorrectly included Labor cost when the employee's security role was not marked to view employee cost. This has been corrected. Widget improvements Previously, when using grouped collapsed on a table widget, you may have experienced that some but not all of the groups appearing on the first page of a widget and other groups on subsequent pages. This has been corrected. You will now get as many grouped collapsed rows on the first page that can fit given the widget height. The Purchase Order base has the following new columns: Current User Is Billing Manager Current User Is Marketing Contact Current User Is Principal Current User Is Project Manager Previously on a widget, if a column was set to group collapsed, the More button disappeared. This has been corrected. Ajera CRM improvements Previously, the Ajera CRM integration was not creating resources and tasks from the project template. This has been corrected. Previously, the Ajera CRM integration would not add the department, project manager and principal in charge from the project template unless the CRM project had information in these fields. This has been corrected. Vendor Invoice improvements In certain situations in the vendor invoice or vendor payment screens, when viewing a processed employee expense report vendor invoice the accounting date was not showing. This has been corrected. In certain cases in Vendor Invoices, when selecting all on the Existing tab you may have experienced the task timing out. Version 8.08.05: Improvements Client Invoice improvements In some cases when moving time from a Billable project to a Marketing project, the status of the transaction was not being properly set and reversing general ledger entries were not being created. This has been corrected. Previously, a marketing project with a preliminary project status would not show up on the Client Invoice list when the Show marketing projects check box was checked. This has been corrected. Other improvements You may see performance improvement when refreshing the Vendor Type list in Setup > Vendors. Previously, sick and/or vacation time moved from overhead to a different project did not reflect correctly on the Accrual Pay report. This has been corrected. Changes have been made to Ajera's SQL database allowing it to run on the highest compatible level of SQL available. This may result in improved performance. In Manage > Finance Charges, when the start date for finance charges is blank and you select a project, clients, or all clients, you received an object reference error. This has been corrected. Previously when using Purchase Orders, you were unable to void a purchase order if it was associated with a voided vendor invoice. This has been corrected. If an employee had a direct deposit with a partial dollar amount, Ajera rounded up the amount on the paycheck stub. The actual pay paid to the employee and written to the database was the correct amount but the paycheck displayed the amount rounded to the next full dollar. Version 8.08.04: Improvement Version 8.08.04: Improvement August 5, 2015 Improvements In Manage > Finance Charges, if you selected a project, client, or all clients on the New tab or selected the Existing tab you received an error. Version 8.08.03: Improvements Version 8.08.03: Improvements July 31, 2015 State Tax Change North Dakota (NDSWH) Effective date: 1/1/2015 Withholding brackets, annual allowances and supplemental flat rates have been updated. Project Command Center improvements In Manage > Project Command Center > Manage tab > Customize options, you can now select the Phase ID to display on the Manage tab. Previously in the Project Command Center, if the role or security group for a user was set up to never allow changes to the General tab > ID or Description, those fields were grayed out but the user could still edit the project/phase description by clicking in the project tree and typing. This has been corrected. Previously, creating a new project from a template may have caused an object reference error. This has been corrected. Widget improvements On the Client base, some Receipt columns had date ranges but the date ranges were not being applied. This has been corrected. On the Client base, when the Prepayment Balance column had a date range, that date range was not filtering properly. This has been corrected. Previously on the Client Type base: The Client Invoice date was used for all of the Receipt columns. Now the Receipt date is being used for those columns. The Receipt columns had date ranges but were not applying them. This has been corrected. On the Project Type base, the Client Invoice date was being used for all Receipt columns. This has been corrected and the Receipt date is being used. On the Project base, receipt columns are now using the Receipt date instead of the Client Invoice date when applying date filters on the column. The following columns have been added to the Project base to allow for easy reporting of this information down the work breakdown structure: Is Project Manager Is Billing Manager Is Principal Is Marketing Contact These columns will be marked Yes if the employee logged in is a project manager, billing manager, principal, or marketing contact anywhere in the work breakdown structure. Version 8.08.03: Improvements When importing a single tab that contained at least one chart widget, you may have received an object reference error causing the import to fail. This has been corrected. Improvement Ajera Cloud only: The Alerts functionality in Ajera SaaS has been restored to normal operation. The Deltek Ajera development team apologizes for any disruption this may have caused. Deltek CRM only: You now have the option to sync clients and contacts created in Deltek CRM with Ajera. Ajera is now compatible with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge browser. You may see performance improvements when running the Commitment Management report. If the report previously timed out when you tried to use it, please try again. Multi-company only. You can now change the credit department on an existing inter-company inhouse expense. Multi-company only. The Vendor Amount to Pay report has a new column called Paid/Company to display the vendor invoice company. Previously you may have received an object reference error editing a vendor invoice. This has been corrected. You may see a reduction in "deadlock" errors. Previously, paid labor moved between non-billable and billable projects did not create reversing cash basis entries. This has been corrected. When enabling Kona integration, the auto import of the Kona widget would fail and a message would appear telling you to manually import the Kona widget, which would also fail. This has been corrected. After upgrading to 8.08.00, the Client was blank on the Client Invoice List window for projects with a Marketing Billing type. This has been corrected. When using formulas or date ranges on columns and the table widget had one or more columns grouped, it was possible to run into errors. This has been corrected. 8 Deltek Ajera 8 2015 Deltek Inc. Version 8.08.02: Improvement Version 8.08.02: Improvement July 20, 2015 Improvement When an in-house payroll employee being paid through direct deposit meets all of the following criteria then the direct deposit for the employee may have been incorrect: Two or more direct deposit accounts The first direct deposit account has a positive amount, that exceeds the net pay The second is set to remaining and results in a negative amount on the direct deposit file The paycheck is paid from the main payroll screen and not the edit paycheck screen If you have an employee that meets this criteria verify the amount the employee was paid in your bank register with your bank statement. 9 Deltek Ajera 8 2015 Deltek Inc. Version 8.08.01: Improvements Version 8.08.01: Improvements June 24, 2015 Improvements When editing an overhead project in Manage > Client Invoices and clicking cancel, you may have received an error message. This has been corrected. When changing the activity on an overhead project in Manage > Client Invoices, general ledger entries were not written properly to reflect the changes. Version 8.08.00: Introducing Purchase Orders, Cash Forecast widget and improvements Version 8.08.00: Introducing Purchase Orders, Cash Forecast widget and improvements June 17, 2015 Introducing purchase orders Ajera's purchase order functionality allows you to track vendor purchase orders. There are two ways to add and change purchase orders: through menu option on the Manage menu and through a task widget on the dashboard. After the PO has been approved, you can: Apply purchase orders to vendor invoices, to prevent overpaying your vendors. Create a change order, if the scope of a purchase order changes. New printable purchase order report. Visit the Learning Center to find out more about purchase orders. Introducing Cash Forecast widget Gain valuable insight into your cash receipt forecast compared to projected expenses with the new Cash Forecast widget. The Cash Forecast widget uses existing Accounts Payable invoices, Accounts Receivable invoices, and work-in-process (WIP) and calculates your average days to pay or receive for that vendor or client. Armed with that information the widget will estimate when you can expect to pay or receive cash. By default we project this out by week. Visit the Learning Center to find out more about the Cash Forecast widget. Client Invoice enhancements You now have the ability to automatically set the billing rate of multiple transactions to 0.00 on an invoice from within Edit > Client Invoice. You now have the ability to move Marketing and Overhead project time to other projects from within Client Invoices. You can now Clear outstanding WIP by associating the transactions with a 0.00 invoice. Previously unit price contracts only applied to Labor. Expense and Consultants always billed as Time & Expense. Now if you do not mark Expense & Consultants to bill as Time & Expense in Project Command Center, the contract amounts are available to bill as Unit Price. Cloud Alerts Ajera Cloud clients now have access to Alerts! Visit the Learning Center to find out more about Alerts. Enhanced widget help In the dashboard there is a question mark (?) in the upper right hand corner that takes you to specific help on widget bases and columns. Version 8.08.00: Introducing Purchase Orders, Cash Forecast widget and improvements Enhanced widget functionality You can now get the percentage of two or more columns at the detail level and know the correct results of that percentage at the grouped row. You can now get the grand total of an amount column without grouping the column. You now have the option to retain security settings when importing dashboard tabs. Widget and dashboard Improvements In chart widgets using the Billed Sales Tax column, the sales tax is now being calculated correctly. In some case on the Project base, the Invoice Format column would display incorrect information. This has been corrected. Previously, if you added a duplicate key column to a widget then deleted the original key column, you got the error "Invalid column name." This has been corrected. On the Project base, receipt columns are now using the Receipt date instead of the Client Invoice date. On the Client base, some Receipt columns had date ranges but the date ranges were not being applied. This has been corrected. In the Transaction and GL Entry base, columns such as Is WIP, Is Invoiced, and Is Cost were not displaying correctly. This has been corrected. Previously when adding a Formula column to a chart widget and clicking Save you would get an error message. This has been corrected. On the GL Accounts base, when you select the Allow Journal entries column, it is wrongly checking the box even when the account is not marked for Allow journal entries. In some case, project widgets were displaying the incorrect client. This has been corrected. On a Project widget, you may have encountered a situation where the Billed Sales Tax column was incorrect and didn't match what was shown in Inquiry. This has been corrected. Previously, if a formula column was grouped and was positioned ahead of a grouped column that had an aggregate filter applied to it, you would receive an error message when saving and the widget wouldn't save. This has been corrected. On a Project widget, when a project had more than one invoice group, the Scope Text column could sometimes display a different result for the same project in different widgets depending on the order of the columns. It will now display the Scope Text from the latest invoice. On the Client base, receipt calculations were based on the client invoice date not client receipt date. This was an issue when tracking receipts in the period they were received. This has been corrected. On the Integration widget, you will now be able to see the entire Results message. If that Integration tab has already been imported, to see the entire Results message, edit the widget and select the Wrap Text check box on the Result column. On chart widgets, you may have encountered an error when adding the same column multiple times. This has been corrected. When selecting a temporary date filter to apply to a column, if a date range was applied by the designer, the date will default to the already existing date filter. Version 8.08.00: Introducing Purchase Orders, Cash Forecast widget and improvements Current Spent Billed Current Billed Other improvements When signing in as a non-administrator in Firefox, there was an overlap of menu items on the drop down menu. This has been corrected. Previously if using Multi-company Manage > In-house Expenses, changing the date created incorrect Cash Basis entries. This has been corrected. In the Project Command Center > Manage tab, you now have the option to make Commitment Numbers not required for Expenses and Consultants. Previously in Setup > Contacts, while editing an existing contact, you were not able to enter values into the Mailing Address fields. This has been corrected. Previously if Active Directory was turned on, users would not have been able to change their password. This has been corrected. Previously when using Alerts, setting a weekly frequency would send alerts every 5 minutes. This has been corrected. Previously when using Alerts, if the frequency was set to weekly, the date would display incorrectly. This has been corrected. On the Vendor Check Register report: You now have the ability to view EFT, Debit, and Credit card payments. Not all check numbers were printed when you sorted by vendor and there were checks for the same vendor on the same date. This has been corrected. 13 Deltek Ajera 8 2015 Deltek Inc.
