Trupan MDF combines excellent physical mechanical properties with exceptional machinability, and because it is available in a variety of densities from standard to ultralight, Trupan MDF is a great choice for every project. The MDF Specialist

TRUPAN MDF Panels Ideal for furniture making and interior design applications, Trupan is the brand of choice for MDF panels in North America because of its quality, performance and workability.

Sustainability The wood fiber in Trupan MDF is produced from certified, sustainably managed plantation forests. No native forest wood or genetically modified trees are used to produce any Trupan products. In addition, Trupan MDF has verified legal origin, and is compliant with the regulations of the USDA s Lacey Act governing the importation of plant-based products. The forests that provide wood fiber for Trupan MDF are certified as being in compliance with CERTFOR, Chile s strict national standard for sustainable forest management. Developed by a non-profit, non-governmental organization, with expert technical assistance from the Chilean Forestry Institute, the CERTFOR standard is endorsed by the international Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC). CERTFOR is your assurance that Trupan MDF originates in plantations that are managed in an environmentally appropriate and socially responsible manner. In addition, ARAUCO has recently completed its first-ever carbon footprint assessment of its operations in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. ARAUCO s carbon footprint is at the low end of those reported by the forest products industry, and the company is on a path to further reduce its carbon footprint in the years ahead. Quality Versatile Trupan MDF is made from 100% fresh pine fiber, which offers a perfect blend of excellent physical mechanical characteristics and lighter weight, in a CARB certified, sustainable, high-quality panel. Trupan MDF sold into North America meets all CARB guidelines. Selection Trupan is available in standard, light and ultralight densities to suit a wide range of demanding applications. From millwork to door core to lamination substrates, Trupan MDF delivers outstanding performance time after time.

Ultralight Light Standard Melamine

Ultralight Trupan Ultralight MDF is manufactured using fresh pine fiber grown in ARAUCO s sustainably managed forest plantations and is specially engineered for weight sensitive applications. Trupan Ultralight MDF provides a smooth, flawless surface and a consistent density profile, and is an ideal choice for millwork and lamination applications where finished product weight is a concern. And because Trupan Ultralight is available in thicknesses up to 2, it is great for a wide variety of other uses and applications as well. Trupan Ultralight panels have an average density of 32 lb/ft 3. Product Features Extremely light weight Light color Consistent density profile Extra smooth sanding Lower tool wear Reduced finished good transportation cost Applications Furniture Mouldings Picture frames Doors Lamination Substrate Display Fixtures Sizes Dimensions Thicknesses (mm) in 12 15 18 20 25 30 38 45 50 48x96 60x96 48x144 60x144 Note: Additional panel sizes and thicknesses available.
