About Apollo Apollo is one of the UK s leading providers of Outplacement Services. We have a reputation, built over two decades, of providing a professional, flexible and cost effective service. No matter what your situation, we can assist. Established in 1997 and having supported over 170,000 individuals through a career transition to date, we have experience across every industry sector, at all levels from shop floor to boardroom, across all disciplines and functions, including both the public and private sectors. Our services are designed to ensure that every employee who leaves the organisation receives the best possible support to enable them to achieve their objectives and goals. We are there to support both the organisation and those responsible for delivering the news and facilitating the transition as well as the departing employees. We are recognised within the industry as having a UK wide consultancy team of the highest calibre, all of whom have in-depth experience of delivering outplacement services in addition to previous success in their business career. Having worked successfully with thousands of individuals across all levels we can help your employees achieve their potential, giving them the tools and support to turn their assets into a marketable package and make a successful career transition. We are the only company in our sector to be accredited with the quality standard BS:EN:ISO 9001-2008. This provides our clients with the assurance that the service we deliver is of the highest standard. As an employer, Apollo is committed to equality and values diversity within its own workforce. Our goal is to ensure that these commitments, reinforced by our values, are embedded in our day-to-day working practices with our clients, colleagues and partners. We deliver practical support which is focused on achieving a smooth, successful transition for all parties concerned. In addition to the practical support we can also deliver emotional support and provide additional services to meet any special needs or requirements that individuals may have. We are as adept at providing high touch 1:1 face to face bespoke consultancy services to senior level individuals as providing multi site outplacement to hundreds of individuals. Whether you have a senior level individual departing under a compromise agreement situation or diverse teams of staff across multiple sites we have the solution for you. Our programmes are all designed to provide whatever you need and to meet any budgetary constraints while making your employees feel supported at every stage of the change. We support small, medium and large companies and whilst our infrastructure is large enough to deliver whatever you need, we re also small enough to ensure your priorities are also ours. With an office network stretching across the UK we can either deliver on-site, through our office network, at a location of your choosing or remotely through skype and telephone. To support the delivery of workshops and 1:1 consultancy, we also offer the industry s leading online resources in addition to programme manuals to support every stage of the job search process, company research providing reports on over 1 million companies in the UK, and a job search campaign management team who through our CareerLine helpdesk and our Virtual Career Centre will provide guidance, research, interview advice and motivation to support your employees through the process. Successful outcomes are where we gain our satisfaction. We track and proactively work with your valued employees to map their outcomes and are proud of our record of supporting 93% of individuals who work with us to report a positive outcome within 90 days. We look forward to working with you on your outplacement project and trust that the services outlined in the following pages provide the solutions that you are looking for.

Business benefits of providing outplacement to your departing employees Outplacement support protects your employer brand and reputation Making redundancies is a stressful process for all involved. Offering effective support that quickly reconnects individuals with their career path makes a positive difference. Outplacement helps reduce the impact of redundancy, speed up the transition process and demonstrates the value that you as an employer place on your people. According to research the number of companies offering outplacement has increased by 50% in recent years. This research shows that 81% of employers now engage help from external consultancies for outplacement support. Industry statistics prove that the benefits of outplacement support for both the employer and employee far outweigh the costs. These benefits can include: - Employees feel supported and acknowledged during a challenging time so they are less negative about the company and there is less damage to the company brand. - Support can improve the reputation of the organisation and counteract the negative impact of job losses. - Outplacement can help employers meet their legal obligation to mitigate the effect of redundancies. It can also help in situations where unions are involved. - Evidence shows that outplacement can improve morale, motivation and productivity during a transition period for both the departing employees AND both during and following a transition period for the remaining staff. - Staff motivation is upheld if employees see that their colleagues leaving the business are being treated fairly and offered professional support. - The HR / management team is supported by the outplacement company assisting them to prepare for the changes and deliver difficult messages to staff. - Bringing in expertise from the outplacement company frees up the HR and management team to focus time on other day to day issues, knowing that the outplacement is taken care of. Most organisations simply do not have the skills or staffing levels to assist employees leaving the organisation. - A relatively small investment in outplacement services can help you make quite dramatic cost efficiencies for the business. Why should you use Apollo as your outplacement provider? - BS:EN:ISO 9001-2008 quality assured and guaranteed - Nationwide network of offices - Two decades of experience - Expertise in both group and 1:1 delivery at all levels from support staff to board room. - Excellent success rates - Large enough to deliver, small enough to provide personal support - Great value for money - All-inclusive online resources and telephone helpdesk included in every programme - Price match guarantee - Face to face delivery. Many other providers count skype or phone consulting as 1:1 - Market leader

Our Services Our services are all flexible and can incorporate any combination of programmes to suit your requirements. The following pages describe our programmes and services which can be broadly broken down into: 1:1 programmes: These vary from fully supportive bespoke programmes suitable for the most senior board level executives delivered through our UK wide network of offices with unlimited face to face support, through to modular programmes suitable for any individual requiring one to one support. In addition to the programmes at either end of the spectrum we offer a selection of individually tailored unlimited 1:1 programmes which can be matched to any employee requirements. You may for instance have an employee with long service, a health situation, or who is simply a stand alone team leader, mid level or senior manager, requiring a programme that fits their own career situation and objective. As a company Apollo specialise in 1:1 programmes so unlike other outplacement companies which may say 1:1 and mean skype or telephone support, we deliver 1:1 face to face programmes across the UK every day of the year. Of course these can also be provided as skype or remote programmes to support individuals working overseas or who prefer the flexibility that such technology offers. Group Workshops: These are highly effective where you have large numbers of employees or a group of peer-level individuals who would work supportively together in a group setting. In addition to facilitating understanding of all aspects of the change that s taking place in addition to providing the individuals with the tools and skills they need to carry out a productive job search, these are a highly cost effective way for the company to provide support to a large number of employees at a very reasonable per head cost. Career Centres can be set up to provide a physical onsite focus and presence, giving a tangible demonstration of the company s support for its employees. Online Virtual Career Centre Resources, CareerLine Helpdesk and Tangible Manual: All employees undertaking an outplacement programme with us are provided with market leading user friendly, accessible online tools and research facilities, in addition to access to our CareerLine helpdesk. Through these, in addition to the consultancy support, every employee is able to access all the support and encouragement they need to carry out a successful career transition. A comprehensive job search manual suited to the individual s career situation and objective is provided for every individual. HR Support Services: We support both the decision making team and those whose task it is to actually break the news. We can help with any aspect of understanding, facilitating or implementing the changes you need to make. This can include the entire workforce transition process from planning the reduction to notification and separation in addition to support for those who remain after the departure of their colleagues. Contact us for more information about your specific requirements and we ll be happy to tailor a package for you.

1:1 sessions to support Workshops Overview Either before or after any workshop we suggest that you consider providing 1:1 coaching sessions for the individuals attending the workshop. This allows the individual to address personally specific areas of their job search which would not be appropriate to address in a group setting. If used prior to the workshop they help to get all individuals up to the same level of understanding prior to the start of the workshop so that there are no hindrances to the workshop on the day. If individuals have personal concerns or worries that could affect their focus on the workshop, it is a good idea to address them before the group gets together so that the workshop can start without a hitch as there is a lot of content to be covered. If used following the workshop they can aid in: Deepening understanding of any aspect covered on the workshop. Addressing personal concerns that not yet been resolved. Review and input into draft CV or covering letter. Interview practice. Discussing the career objective and aiding in decision making. Motivation and support. We can deliver full days of 1:1 coaching consultations onsite or individual 1:1 sessions through our nationwide office network as required and flex to your requirements around these. Full days of 1:1 sessions would include 7 x 1 hour sessions.

Onsite Career Resource Centres Overview Onsite Resource Centres are often the focal point of an on-site programme, providing a central coordination point for workshops, consultancy sessions and practical, visible support services. Centres can be established onsite or at any location convenient for the organisation and their employees. They are particularly valuable when large scale changes occur over an extended period. The Resource Centre provides a supportive environment for clients a one stop shop providing affected employees with access to a dedicated career consultant and support services. The resources available are extensive and include access to the internet for job search purposes, vacancy databases, appropriate newspapers, information from the Benefits Agency, local training information, internal opportunities and other material of a relevant nature. Vacancies are displayed in the Centre and access is provided to both the Virtual Career Centre online resources and the CareerLine Helpdesk. Staffing is available as much or as little as required. If required, a dedicated Proactive Job-searcher can be included within the project who will contact businesses directly to seek out vacancies, maintain links with relevant local employers, Government Agencies and Local Employment Agencies. In effect, this offers a free recruitment service to employers and has been proven to accelerate the rate of resettlement with external jobs. Distinctive features of an onsite resource centre One stop shop access to consultant, training and reference materials. Support in tailoring applications, letters and CVs to individual applications. Practice interview sessions and role plays. Ability to book one-to-one appointments and places on workshops. Jobcentre Plus and Benefits Agency information.
