Telescopic Forks Telescopic forks are made of a fixed body and a variable number of sliders. Such devices are mainly used in automated warehouses and in several industrial automation systems. In the automated warehouses, the telescopic forks handle loads from the aisle s centre to the rack positions and vice versa. They can be installed also on other devices as AGVs-GVs with a lifting unit. Accordingly to the storage units positiong, telescopic forks are classified in Single Deep forks (two mobile parts and one fixed body), Double Deep forks (three mobile parts and one fixed body) and Triple Deep forks (four mobile parts and one fixed body). ESMARTSUTTE ESMARTSUTTE is the patented solution for high density warehouses. It consists in two independent modules: shuttle and satellite. The shuttle is the main trolley which carries the satellite and/or the storage unit in the X-direction. This module can be supplied with an integrated chain conveyor that is used to transfer the storage units to the IN/OUT bays. The satellite is the smaller trolley which lifts, carries and stores the loading unit in the warehouse channels (Z-direction). Service Eurofork service team consists of skilled technicians able to operate in reduced time on all types of telescopic forks and other handling devices even produced by other manufacturers. Different types of assistance contracts will guarantee minimized costs and will increase the product s lifetime. ith regards to ESMARTSUTTE system, with a remote assistance our technicians can solve problems in real time.

Telescopic Forks Telescopic forks are classified as follows: Single Deep: characterized by two slides and one fixed body. These forks perform a bilateral movement called single deep, being able to handle loads stored in a single line shelves. Double Deep: characterized by three slides and one fixed body. These forks perform a bilateral movement called double deep, so can handle loads stored in a two lines shelves. These forks can reach a higher ratio between stroke and fork s length if compared to the single deep ones: that means that it is possible to obtain greater strokes. Triple Deep: characterized by four slides and one fixed body. These forks perform a bilateral movement called triple deep. They are able to handle loads stored in a three lines shelves. Usually this kind of forks are used as double deep forks in case a reduced fixed body length is required or an high load shall be handled. The motion is transmitted from the geared motor to the first mobile part; the second sliding part will move at a double speed compared to the first one, thanks to a series of gears, chains or belts bounded to the fixed body. In case of double (or triple) deep telescopic forks, the motion will be transferred to the third (or fourth) sliding part. Cam-followers are used to vertically guide sliding parts, while lateral guided is obtained by using shoes accordingly to the working environment. SINGE DEEP SD160 This type of single deep fork has been developed to offer the best solution to handle storage units with a small fork. Despite its small dimensions, 160 mm width and 65 mm height of mobile elements, this type of forks can handle storage units up to 800 kg on a complete set of forks. SINGE DEEP - DOUBE DEEP MINIOAD FORKS SD200 & DD220 & DD225 Telescopic forks belonging to this family are used to handle small storage units, such as plastic or cardboard boxes. M letter in the fork s code means miniload : the maximum load of these forks is 150 kg. The reduced vertical dimensions (32 or 40 mm in single deep and 60 or 80 mm in double deep) of the forks makes them extremely versatile. SINGE DEEP SD120 & SD130 SD120 and SD130 forks model are used to handle small storage units, such as plastic or cardboard boxes with a maximum weight of 300 kg (on two forks).
